Plum Flower - Bi Yan Pian - Sugar Coated - 120 Tablets

This was a very brutal year in my area for pollen and allergies. On top of everything, we did some renovations so there was dust and allergens absolutely everywhere for a while. We (my husband and I) went through a bunch of allergy medicines and nothing really worked. Then we tried this, on the advice of a friend. I was absolutely amazed. There was no fogginess, no druggy feeling, but our sinuses really opened up. Quickly. I'm just amazed at how well this works. This product has earned a permanent place in my medicine cabinet!

A friend told me about this supplement while I was suffering my third sinus infection of the year. It works amazingly well and quickly. The only thing I do not like is that there are no instructions printed in English on the bottle. Since one of the ingredients can be toxic I would like to know what the recommended dosage is for the product.

I am normally not a homeopathic, herbal remedy taking kind of girl. But one day, I was very sick, out of my normal cold medicine, couldn't breathe and desperate. My boyfriend offered me his Bi Yan and I actually laughed at him thinking that he was a fruitcake. Well, the joke was on me. His herbalist had written on the bottle that they should be taken 5 tabs at a time 2-3 times a day. 5 TABS?!?! Are they serious? So, still laughing, I took my 5 little tabs. 15 min later, one nostril had cleared. 30 min later and my sinuses were dry as the Sahara. I could breathe for the first time in almost a week! Warning: it can dry you out to the point that you will have minor nose bleeds. I haven't had a sinus infection in 5 years because I start taking it the moment a head cold starts. Me, who was prone to them and ended up on antibiotics at least 4 time a year. In 5 years of taking Bi Yan, I have given doses to friends and co-workers who were sick. Every single time, that person has come back to me and had me order them. If you are not into the homeopathic, herbal thing....I ask you to put aside your skepticism. Try it! You won't be disappointed!

Plus these are no returnable. Bad product...But Amazon without the sugar coating.

I took a risk purchasing this product to help with my overactive spleen. However, after several days of taking this supplement, I had severe stomach cramps. Stopped taking it and the pain went away. I didn't take it long enough to leave a substantial review, but this was my experience. I will say that the "sugar coating" did help make swallowing them easier, though they are not very big - about the size of an M&M.

Bi Yan Pian resolves my ongoing hay fever issues. No more sniffling and sneezing! I need the help since I spend a lot of time in the barn with... yes, you guessed it... lots of HAY. I don't like taking pharmaceuticals on an ongoing basis and frankly none of them work as well as this Chinese herbal combination. My only issue is that it's out of stock most of the time, but hopefully that will be resolved now that Plum Flower has established a new manufacturing facility to replace the one which was closed because of rezoning.

While I like the product as it helps with my allergies I do not like that it is sugar coated. Use to be able to purchase it without sugar and I'm hopeful they will come back with that offer. Until then I will purchase from another website as I don't like having my pills sugar coated.

My acupuncturist recommended this brand. I have purchased it from another website in the past, but I like the sugar coated version available here. That makes a huge difference as you don't have the bitter taste. Best product for hayfever I have found. Having suffered with hay fever for years, tried all the prescription stuff that made me drowsy or foggy, this is so superior to anything I ever used. I could rattle off all the over the counter stuff, and all the prescription drugs, tried them all, even went through the skin testing, and NOTHING works as fast or without all the side effects that are associated with allergy meds.
