Its good. Buy it!
This is well made and plays very well. I was a little apprehensive after ordering but when it arrived we became friends pretty fast, Its extremely well priced, looks great and does all the things a jazz bass should do.I needed something last minute for a session and its probably (dare I say it) now a mainstay. It sounds actually what you would expect from a jazz bass. It sounds WAY better than its price. It would seem the pickups are wired for a hum bucking configuration when both are turned up (this is good!) I have an actual late 60's jazz bass and an assortment of others. Any mild hum you get with one or the other pickup off is probably normal for this particular configuration...

Plays really well
Neck and fretwork are excellent ... pickups are good for the price ... these are great for just playing a small venue or noodling at home. Definitely worth the $ IMHO

5 string jazz bass
I received very quickly and it was beautiful and better than I expected. It was set up better than a much expensive guitar I purchased from the guitar center . Intonation, no fret buzzing, excellent finish. Nice job!

QC & Set Up Issues
This is still a great bass for the money. Great sound. That being said, mine came a bit damaged with some quality control issues. The binding on the neck came marked up pretty bad and the pickguard screws are all at an angle and not screwed down properly. The action was also pretty high at unboxing. After setting it up to my liking it's much more playable, but not everyone may have that skillet. Budget another $75-100 to get this set up by a pro. Overall still a great bass for this price range. Just a bit disappointed that I paid for a new bass and it came damaged.

Great Bass
What I expected was a more poorly constructed bass. What I got was unexpected. The frets were smooth as silk. I could only find two minor flaws. One of which was a tiny spot on the finish you might find on a $3000 instrument. The other appear to be something kicked up a corner of the pickguard. So minor, I haven't attempted to repair it. It might be easily fixed. The biggest issue I have with this item is the time it took to leave the warehouse was around a month, while showing "in stock" the entire time.I should also mention, I purchased the 70's Classic Vibe black and it was discounted around $65.

Warped neck and high frets.
Couldn’t get the next to straighten out and the bass had multiple high frets. Take 30 days to process a return and Amazon was unable to send a replacement.Got a new one through sweetwater and it was perfect.
