A2 Plated Alto Saxophone Metal Mouthpiece + Cap + Ligature Gold #7

This mouthpiece was not A2 but instead was A7. This just means the facing is longer and does not bother me, but just warning. Very high baffle and produces a bright, clear sound. It took some time to get used to and not honk like a goose. I've had this for a little over a year and I will say, that for this price, it is probably the best jazz piece for a beginner I could find.

Great purchase! Mouthpiece cap was a little bent upon arrival, but hasn't affected its playing ability. The ligature isn't great, it holds, but not well. Would advise in investing into a better ligature. Playing on this mouthpiece is a blast and it looks super sharp on my black Cannonball! I would recommend this mouthpiece to anyone looking to play on a metal mouthpiece.

An average-quality, bright sounding metal mouthpiece for beginner, but nothing too special. The ligature could not hold Vandoren reeds so I had to bend the ligature and make sure they stood on the mouthpiece, which was sort of a weird thing to do at first but I sort of made it work somehow. The cap was also too small for the mouthpiece after I readjusted the ligature but I didn't use it. Other than that, you definitely get a pretty bright tone out of it but you get what you pay for when buying a cheap mouthpiece like this. Don't expect anything special.

There's no words to describe how happy I am with this product. I was using the plastic mouth piece but now that I have this mouthpiece I can't describe the sound. The sound is Natural and Loud. This made my Alto Sax extremely loud especially when I play on a reed 3.5, man this thing is PERFECT. I will be ordering Several more Only because I love the sound. Thank you so much YR. Seasons.

Wish I could return it, but I didn't try it out until much too late. I have a Selmer C* that's about 30 years old, it performs so much better than this thing. You practically have to swallow this mouthpiece so you don't have air escaping out the sides of your mouth.I wish I could find a good Lawton to use instead.

I cannot believe how good this mouthpiece sounds. I know I took a chance when I purchased a lower priced metal mouthpiece. But I can honestly say that I really like this mouthpiece it is great find.

it doesn't sound much different from a standard mouth piece, just looks flashy, but it definantly does what is should.

I love it!!! I have a cheap Lazaro Alto sax which came with a beginner mouth piece. Once I brought the A2 and 2-1/2 plastic coated reeds, it sounds like my Yamaha saxophone. It well worth the investment . I can reach my low B flat with power and great sound. It a lil struggle with the high F sharp. But I can reach it. No squeaking or drop outs.
