I really wanted to love this bench. There are so many positives about it, it's reasonably priced, it's attractive, the finish is smooth and it folds down to almost nothing for storage and portability. Somehow I just don't love it. The angle seems odd and I haven't figured out how to sit on it comfortably. I might have to buy a different bench because seiza is my favorite meditation posture and this one isn't doing it for me.

This bench looks and feels solid and well-made. It appears to have steel reinforcement embedded inside the bamboo, which is reassuring. It's comfortable and compact, and I'm really happy with it.
