Nearly stopped my snoring! Very comfortable and Cool
My husband was sleeping in the recliner in the living room most every night because I kept him awake with snoring. He even took a video of me where I appeared to have quit breathing a few times. I didn't want to go through a sleep study or have to wear a CPAP and had tried the nose strips (which only helped a little). He noticed that when I napped in the recliner, I didn't snore much at all. So I decided to invest in a good sleep wedge. I did a lot of research and read tons of reviews and this one topped my list. I unboxed it and let it sit on my front porch in the evening sun for about 2-3 hours. It fully inflated and had NO smell. The cover is very well made. I tried using it at its highest level and found that it sat me up a little too much, so removed the bottom wedge (easily done using the zipper on the cover), and it was just right. I am a very warm sleeper and even use bamboo sheets for the cooling effect. This has not made me hot at all. It has a cooling gel top layer, which isn't necessarily cool, but does not add to my warmth as I sleep. I have slept on this for 6 weeks and it also has great, but not too much support. It is a firm memory foam. Just enough to be comfortable and not sag and lose its shape. I do use a flatter pillow to tuck under my head. I find I'm most comfortable when I lay with the lowest part of the wedge right at my hip so that my entire upper torso is laying on the wedge. My husband is once again sleeping with me! I haven't woken him since! I highly recommend.

Exceeds expectations
I have a very rare flare-up of GERD about 3 times a year. We had a 12 inch wedge pillow, it is one of the cheaper ones, feels like a giant piece of hard foam. I was trying to find something to not only help with the GERD but also to not make me cramp my neck on a hard foam pillow. I got this Luxelift pillow and I took the 4 inch booster out. The big difference between this one and the others I have tried, is the egg crate top, that is much more comfortable. I woke up feeling so much better than I had been. My wife had told me I was making strange noises in my sleep before the wedge. She had woke me up several times saying I sounded like I was choking. Those went away with this wedge pillow. She said I am not a bad snorer even before it but with it, she said I don't snore at all. She said I make a little humming noise. It not only improved my sleep, it improved hers too. Mine came with a very nice pillowcase and I ordered an extra one too. I have said this on other cooling products. To me, it balances your temperature. I am not as hot when I wake up but I do not feel cool either. That is good enough though. It is not often a product exceeds expectations but this one does.

Updated: Doesn't quite get to 12" but customer service was excellent and pillow seems durable
UPDATE: I reached out to support about my issue with the height of the pillow. They immediately sent a replacement but unfortunately, after 6 days the big part was only 6.5" - a slight increase over the 5.75" on the first pillow. The small part also did a little better at 3.5" vs 2.5" for the first pillow. New pillow height is 10" vs. the first pillow height of only 8".While waiting for the second one to arrive, I started using the first one and I'm going to base my review on that. Putting the height issue aside the pillow seems to be very durable and I'm hoping it will last a long time. It is a wee bit too firm (your mileage may vary) but when I need to use it I want something that's really going to prop me up. The firmness doesn't keep me awake. As stated before, the bamboo cover is very nice and silky. I haven't had any problems with it being too warm or making me sweat. The airing out/waiting for the expansion is annoying. When I ordered this it was to replace an old warn out wedge pillow and so I was hoping to use it right away but I did have to wait about 48 hours for it to expand and air out. I noticed absolutely no smell from the first night I used it. If you get one, plan on waiting a day or two to be able to use it.Pros:Pillow material seems very durableMemory foam is very supportive, perhaps too much?Bamboo cover is nice and seems like it will hold up wellCustomer service was very good and really seemed to care about the productCons:Doesn't quite hit promised heightA touch too firm depending on your tasteCan't be used right away due to expansion and airing outI've updated my review to 4 stars based on actually using the pillow and the customer service. I took off one star for the height issue and the 48-72 hours you need to wait to use it.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW (2 STARS)I'm about 36 hours into the "airing out" and "natural expansion" process which is annoying. I think I'm to a point where the item might be usable in terms of the smell BUT it's not "naturally expanding" to it's described height. So far the large portion is just under 6 inches and the smaller portion is at 2.5 inches. Total height is about 8 inches which is only two thirds of the promised height. The only thing to like so far is the bamboo cover which feels very nice and silky.Maybe I have a bad one but if you buy this be prepared to wait a couple days for the "airing out". The smell is quite obnoxious right out of the package.

Great wedge pillow!!
I received this pillow almost 2 months ago but waited to write a review because I wanted to know, first hand, how it stands up to consistent nightly usage. I've been using wedge pillows for several years as they help with my medical conditions but they always make me feel hot and I end up flipping it over in the middle of the night while trying to not hit my husband in the face. This pillow has egg crate foam stuff on the top and it's never made me overheat. I mostly use the 8" height with an extra little pillow but I did have a few rough nights where I added the extra bit and slept on the 12". I've never used a wedge that high before but it felt like I was reclining in a comfy chair. The pillowcase that comes with the pillow is good but if you have sensitive skin there's a chance that you'll want to put a smoother fabric over the bamboo cover but I think that would also hold more heat in.Tips for some side sleepers - Don't try to sleep on your side on the 12" wedge, you'll regret it when you wake. For a standard 8" you can put the thin edge right at or above your hip, your body naturally bends there and you're less likely to get cramped up. Try using a small thin pillow under your head to help keep your spine aligned; I like to use throw pillow inserts simply because they're cheap and not very thick.Hope this helps someone!
