Overview: The benefits of Power Racks are numerous - they allow for a safe free-weight workout by eliminating any dangers like falling weights, failure or accident by the use of bar catches on the side pegs. Another benefit is the ability for a lifter to handle more weight than they normally would using full-range equipment. Lat Pull Down can be extremely beneficial in building upper body strength and target the upper body muscles. It is also quite beneficial in keeping the shoulder healthy. A lat pull down exercise not only targets the latissimus dorsi muscles, but also strengthens the lower and middle trapezius, rhomboids, and serratus anterior muscles. The latissimus dorsi muscles are extremely vital for spine stabilization and a sportsman with a weak back will not be able to perform in his or her event to his or her potential. 1000-Pound weight capacity. G**!
The most bang for your buck! Solid, full featured, rack!
I'll try not to simply repeat what others have said...A little about me so you can actually compare my use to your use to ensure the review is relevant for you:1. 5'10", 180 lbs, personal trainer and fit. But I no longer lift heavy (for me).2. Workout 3-4 times per week with weights. I believe in the basics, so my workouts revolve around dead lifts, squats, bench, and shoulder presses.3. I usually don't bench more than 255 lbs for workouts, same with squats, and 135-155 for military press. At 46 years old, I focus more on lower weights, higher rep counts and lower rest periods (5x5, 8x8). Dead lifts up to 315. But you don't really use the rack for those, other than re-racking the bar at the end to pull weights off. Some reviewers of this rack and others complained their rack was delivered with damaged boxes and scratched frame. My boxes were beat up, but the frame was packaged nicely, so no damage. Other reviewers complained about scratches or paint chipped on the frames, and/or metal burs in the holes that scratched up their safety bar. Boo-f'ing-hoo! Seriously? You give 2 sh*ts about some paint chips and scratches on the safety bars? Personally I can't wait till this thing is beat up. It means I've used it. I guess some people want a pretty piece of furniture in their basement. I'd love to see them working out and gently setting the bar into the jhooks or lowering it onto the safety bars so as not to scratch anything... ffs.I literally searched racks for over a month before deciding on this rack (what really held me up was the non-standard frame size of 2.25", see photo)Review:1. I love this rack. I'm used to training on Rogue equipment, so I'm used the the expensive gym stuff. I was skeptical of the quality of this rack + pulley for less than $300. I can tell you, I'm super impressed. It took me about an hour of casually putting it together by myself (the trick is to assemble it sideways, then just tilt the whole rack up when done).2. Welds are solid and nice. No burs in the holes, and while doing dips and pull-ups the rack barely moves.3. J-hooks are thinner gauge than high priced equipment, but more than adequate for the weights that I lift with. See pics.4. I like that the pull-up bar is on the outside and that the ends are angled down. Some racks the bars are straight across. Simply personal preference for wide grip pull-ups. Ends have a dense foam/rubber coating, but can get slippery if palms sweaty, but I use chalk anyway.5. PULLEY SYSTEM: I didn't expect commercial quality pulley system and neither should you, especially at this price point. However, it is solid, easy to attach to the frame, and I like that it has the 2" bars to put the weights on (many racks have the 1" bars). Again, personal preference but I just don't have weights with the 1" holes. Pull-down and pull-up bars both have a nice and long travel distance, so you don't bottom out if doing lat pull downs or curls or tri-pull downs, etc... I only use this for accessory work anyway, so it wasn't that important for me. I don't think you can get a better pulley system in a home gym rack setup. So don't get caught up in comparing this feature.6. Dip bars: Again, my biggest concern was that the bars would be too far apart and work more chest and be harder on the shoulders. They aren't, so don't let that be a concern. Yes, in my perfect world the bars would be tapered, so further apart at first and then closer together towards the back so you could choose the width you wanted, but heck, I was just happy they included the attachments, and they are solid. My wife is 5'6 115 lbs and the dips are fine for her as well. It would have been total bonus if the dip bars could have been placed on the outside/side frames so I could potentially leave them there (I suppose they could take up a hole needed for bench press height)7. Safety bars: Very solid bars, no wiggle no give. Again, I don't lift weights heavy enough for me to warrant using the bars for the purpose and I do all my work on the outside of the cage, but I have no doubt they will hold considerable weight, and also good if you decide to use for shrugs and don't want to use the jhooks.Cons: Okay, these are so minor that they didn't warrant any deduction in stars from my perspective:1. Jhook holes are a bit further apart than I'd like, but no biggie for me. Roughly 3" from bottom of hole to top of next hole below, or 3.5" center to center. Doesn't create any issues for me.2. Holes aren't numbered in any way. But most racks in this price range aren't, so whatever. I'll take an oil pen and write my own.3. Non-standard frame size of 2.25" instead of 2". Not sure why they did this, and I almost dropped an extra $150 on a similar looking rack that had 2" frame. BUT, this rack includes nearly all of the accessories I need, so who cares. I wanted a landmine attachment, but I'll just rig something up. No big deal, at least for me.4. No weight holding bars on the back bar. But, I knew this when buying so definitely not a knock on the product. Again, just bonus stuff and I don't mind just throwing my weights on the floor next to the rack.5. No small bars at the base of the rack to attach resistance bands to. Again, so minor and I knew it didn't have them when I bought it, so I can't complain. I'll weld my own on there or drill a hold and put my own bars on.All in all, I don't think there is a single rack/pulley system available anywhere that matches the quality, features, AND price point of this rack! If you think like I think and workout like I workout, don't hesitate, just buy this rack.I've never been paid to do a review. So this isn't one of those fake ass reviews that plagues amazon.

Some issues, but overall a good purchase
(1) The instructions consist only of a single picture showing how the parts fit together. Some portions are illegible, and written instructions would help (e.g., how and when the side-to-side cross-bars should be connected to the front-to-back cross-bars; don't tighten all the bolts until all are in place, in order to allow all the pieces to fit together properly). I've used the assembled cage for a week now, and it functions well. Very solid, functional, and cost-effective. (2) I thought I had purchased the attachment, as I paid $299 for the cage listed in its title as having an optional lat pull-down, as opposed to $279 for the "powercage only" listing without the lat pull-down. I contacted the company, and they responded promptly, allowing me to buy the lat pull-down attachment, but for another $100. I assembled it yesterday, and it seems to be worth the additional money. The lat pull-down in particular could use written instructions to assemble, especially the correct wiring of the cables. (3) Finally, some of the manufacturing control could be better, as I had to finish punching out some of the metal holes that were incompletely punched on arrival, and two of the holes needed filing down to remove burrs that prevented the bolts from inserting. DISCLAIMER: I am writing this review to be helpful to readers but also to receive a free pair of J hooks for the power cage. It is nevertheless a candid review, and hope it is helpful to you.

Misleading Title
This is sold by Amazon and I find the title misleading "HulkFit Multi-Function Adjustable Power cage with J-Hooks, Dip Bars and Optional Lat Pull-Down Attachment, 1000-Pound Capacity " I say that because it reads like the Optional Lat Pull-Down Attachment is included throughout the page. There was also no option during the ordering process to select that optional attachment, again making me think this product would include the option. After receiving the product and setting it up I found that the option was not included kind of disappointing. I searched again throughout Amazon website to see if there was some thing I had missed, but my findings revealed the same. I am not sure who I should contact to clarify all this, but I will be looking into it. I do not plan to return it even without the lat pull down still great price I just feel the title is misleading and should be corrected. Now for the product itself great build and easy to put together did it myself in about 30 minutes. Fast shipping at the beginning stated may take approximately 2 months but got in less then one.5 stars is for product build and fast shipping.

Just pieced together.
I've yet to actually use the rack so I'm writing solely off of what I've noticed during construction and just after.Firstly, I had to use a hammer on one of the brackets to get the overhead stringer to properly fit because it was bent in towards itself upon opening the package. It looked to be a manufacturing error as opposed to a damaged package. It was an easily corrected issue but an issue nonethelss. Some other things I've noticed is that the rack is more compact than I initially thought. I prefer a bigger rack for squats, but this will do just fine. Being a bit smaller is a plus in that it saves room if you're buying this for a home gym.The rack does shake a little which shakes my confidence in it a bit but time will tell how sturdy this structure proves itself to be.The black on yellow is pretty cool and definitely stands out. I do look forward to using this equipment, just be prepared for some unforeseen problems when you put it together.
