Overall, this light is a decent buy. The dollar/lumen ratio is certainly up there if all you need is a bright light. The construction materials leave something to be desired, but I guess that's what you get for $30.I'm giving this three stars for a few reasons:- The ends are made of plastic and don't look as good in person -- not bad if you're installing under a shelf or out of sight.- The mounting clips are stainless steel -- but they are made of the thinnest stamped stainless sheet metal. This makes the edges extremely sharp -- handle the clips with care! I tried to slide them over in the mounting rail and cut my thumb open.- Maybe there's a better way to mount the clips. But I mounted them evenly spaced about 8 inches from each edge of the light. The light bows slightly and doesn't sit completely flush. A third mounting clip would help, maybe repositioning the clips to the ends would help too.-There are no directions included on best practices for mounting or wiring diagrams. See above item. The picture online has the wiring pinout in the picture but there was no information in the box.- The diffuser is also flimsy and thin plastic.- It does not come with any way to switch or plug it in. Not really a con if you plan on snapping multiple of these together. Though anyone buying a single light should be aware.The good features of this product:- The power conditioning circuits look beefy and high quality. They are potted and glued securely in place.- The LED strips inside (3 in total) have a thick aluminum substrate that helps dissipate heat.- The light is very bright, yet not harsh on the eyes thanks to the diffuser.Not a bad product. I would just warn you if you are looking for an eye-pleasing, easy-to-install source of extra light. If all you need is a lot of light for cheap and you aren't going to physically beat on them then these are great for that!

Awesome overall. Pretty easy install. However, if you are replacing fluorescents in a kitchen overhead, for example, you need to wire two of these from one set of wires...therefore, you need to be able to run wire from the bottom of one light to the bottom of the other/meet somewhere in the middle. There is no hole to pull that wire thru the bottom, so you end up having to really force the light into the mounting bracket, and it won’t be flush with the ceiling.

I like it very much. It is of the right size and brightness for my house. It’s simple set up makes it flexible to be installed anywhere. I put it over the piano so my kid can use it when playing. The position is hard to any other lamps but this light fits just perfectly.

I installed it in my garage. Works very good. It replace three light bulbs in the garage. High quality.

Nice light for the money.
