Silicone straws are perfect for cold smoothies and hot drinks. They are not firm and sharp so you know that children will not get hurt by falling or being poked by a straw. (I know, you wonder what kind of children I am talking about... try a summer day of water skiing, picnicking and family reunion with 6 grandsons from 3 to 11... drinks can be put down, football players can land on top of them, children can fall asleep with them in their hands, and there are many other possibilities for a face or eye coming in contact with a rigid stainless steel straw.) With colors that children will love, and so much variety that each child can have a different color, there is no possibility of having to throw out drinks because we don't know whose is whose. There never seem to be enough brushes for cleaning straws; this set has 6 straws. There are also narrow straws for cups. The only thing that could make this a perfect set is having silicone mouthpieces for the ends of the steel straws so that they can be used in coffee mugs.

These straws are great! They come in appealing colors that look just like the picture, and are otherwise exactly as described! Metal straws don't work for me because they hurt my teeth, so the silicone works very well for me. They are flexible and soft, but hold up well as a straw. They support themselves and allow for appropriate suction. They are dishwasher safe, but come with the handy cleaning brush for a more thorough clean. I highly recommend these straws to everyone as a fun and easy way to do your part in keeping our planet safe and healthy. (Banana for scale)

Hello world! I never write reviews on Amazon even though I'm generally satisfied with most of my purchases, but I have to tell you how obsessed I am with the straws. I have been an avid straw user since a very young age but once I saw some articles about how bad plastic straws were for the ocean I knew I had to make a change. I had drunk from metal straws before and thought they were disgusting, so I knew I had to find a better solution and lo and behold I found silicone straws for an absurdly reasonable price. These straws are amazing. They were great, no weird metallic flavor, and they're dishwasher safe! So not only am I protecting sea turtles, but I can be lazy about how I wash them. Truly amazing! And even better I posted about these on my social media and have had multiple friends also join the fight to help protect our oceans. Obsession level 10. Will definitely be buying more in the near future and you should too.

The standard sized straws are very good quality and should hold up well. The diameter is perfect, not as wide as most silicone straws which must be designed for thick liquids. I bought these to use in my yeti cups. They work well for the 20 oz size, but are too short for the 30 oz tumbler. I would rate these five stars if they were a little longer. Please consider a longer length in a standard width straw.

These are perfect for a gift (in my case it was a gift to myself ;) I bought them after reading the average American uses and throws away 500 plastic straws a year - yikes! So thet are great for your environmental-friendly - even the packaging is plastic free (comes in a perfect sized cardboard container). They are well made, just about the size of a normal straw you'd get in a pack of throwaway plastic straws (this is the standard size btw). They are pretty colors that dont fade and made of your typical silicon. If you aren't familiar with silicon its a soft bendy plastic. Cleaning is very easy, they come with the the perfect size cleaning tool to brush out the inside of the straw. I use them in my morning coffee (to keep my teeth white!) They bend and squish so I think they'd fit in most mugs. I've washed them in the dishwasher along with my silverware and they come out clean, no worse for wear.

Bright colors, flexibility, angled ends that can get all the drink from the bottom of the cup. Much easier to use than steel straws that must have silicone tips pushed on and then washed carefully so you don't drop those tips down the drain. Also don't have to worry about hitting the straw wrong and chipping a tooth. Nice to have a carrying bag so I can take them on trips or out to eat. Even though these are advertised as “regular size”, they fit perfectly in my 30 oz cup too. My only complaint is the cleaning brushes are short enough that it's a little hard to get them back out after cleaning the inside of the straw, but I already had a brush that works well.UPDATE: liked these so much that I just bought a second set. They now include a smaller bag so that it’s easier to carry a couple when you go out to a restaurant. I keep that bag with two straws in my pocketbook.

I didn’t really expect to like these. My previous experience with silicon cooking items has left me jaded. I bought them because I figured I could fold one up to fit in my small purse without damage to my purse.I’m my efforts to not use plastic utensils and straws I carry my own with me. Also helps during flu season to stay healthy. Nothing worse than dozens of people reaching into a bin of unwrapped utensils, plastic or otherwise.Anyway, we went to visit friends and they hate the rattle of a metal straw on a metal cup so at the last second I swamped out for these. I use a purple one for my hot drink cup and the light blue for my cool drink cup and I love them. No rattle. Easy and comfortable to drink out of, easy to clean. No offense taste.
