Excellent, but Overpriced
I love the book. The book itself is great, it arrived in excellent condition, hence the full stars I dont know how rare this book is, but $150+ minimum for it seems really excessive. ESPECIALLY because it arrived with an $8.99 sticker on it from the bookstore, haha

Nicely done book
While not as extensive as the old Hyperion editions, this 'art of' Treasure Planet is a good, solid book, a must for fans of the film. The work goes into detail on all the major designs and characters and gives us pictures of even the minorest walk on. I would have liked a bit more art from the film, but given the shoddy way Disney seems to be abandoning this film, I'm pleased we got this book at all. A nice piece of work and a must for any fan of the film or Disney collector.

Makings of Greatness
It's something I've always wanted. Now I can read all the cool trivia about my favorite movie. It was in better condition than was expected. I don't think it was ever even opened! Thanks!

Book is in excellent condition; even smells like new ink. Binding is still intact and no dog eared pages. Definitely a book I'll treasure.

Expands on general story but not much else
They expanded A LOT on the general canon of the universe (goes into detail how the universe is the way it is in the movie) but it is extremely lacking in expanding on character biographies and pasts. It's also disappointing that this book is so short; for a project that Disney had in development for many years, they could have greatly expanded on this book; I know they have they information!In closing, If you are a die hard fan of Treasure Planet, this book is a must and is a holy grail in the fandom. The pictures they do have are gorgeous and they do explain Jim's mindset pretty well (but it's not something a die hard fan wouldn't already know) and it's nice to have a piece of Treasure Planet.If you are a general fan, of animation or Disney then steer clear! Animation fans will find the lack of explanation on the blending of the 2d and 3d mediums disheartening and Disney fans tend to forget this movie exists so I doubt you'll care much for this.

Pas mal. Mais je reste malgré tout déçu car les illustrations sont trop petite. Et le livre lui même est trop chère pour ce que c'est alors que je reste une fan conditionnelle du dessin animé
