This is a wonderful product BUT be careful how you order it
This is a wonderful product BUT be careful how you order it! I wanted to just sample it so ordered four jars offered at about $6.50 a jar. When the fish finally arrived, after about ten days, I discovered it cost me $47+ dollars for four small jars of fish!! The freight from the market that sold/delivered the product must be ridiculously high.Don't make my mistake. Check carefully to see WHO will fulfill your order and WHAT the freight will be.Sorta hard to enjoy the great tuna when all you can think about is how you were taken to the cleaners on the final price.

OMFG THAT WAS DELICIOUS!
All I have to say about this is WOW, and well worth the price! This is by far the best "canned" tuna I have ever had. If you're on the fence about buying it, you NEED to get this. Incredible flavor, and basically a sliced up (in 1-2"x3-4" slices - think BIG and multiple bites) tuna steak put in the jar.I ate it straight out of the jar. I'm not sure I'd want to ruin it by putting on a sandwich, but that's probably going to be the best tuna sandwich you'll ever eat...maybe I will when my next shipment arrives now that I think about it. On a salad, CAN'T WAIT! I really wish I had bought more than one to try!Warning though, it will absolutely ruin regular canned tuna you get from the grocery store though...

Good, but not worth the price
The tuna itself was excellent, but it is now worth the premium over regular canned tuna--unless you are going to feature it by itself, rather than use in a pasta sauce, as we often do.

Best catch in the sea..
I really love this Tonnino ventrescas tuna. I had been a shopper at BJ's wholesale club for many years. They offered a similar product of tuna filet that I would purchase often(double pack 6 oz jar). As usual, though, they discontinued selling it in their clubs. So I took to the internet, searching various sites, checking out Amazon.com. Came across the ventrescas filets on the site. I have not regretted the purchase. I like that it is packed in olive oil and jarred(no can taste). The price was the best at approx $6.46 a jar. I bought two cases which brought the price under $6.00 a jar. The vendor(Taylor's Market) packaged the shipment great, no broken jars. Great customer service..

Makes premium tuna taste like cat food!
This is to tuna what bacon is to meat! I don't mean salty, I mean just divine. Here is a test you can do with yourself and some friends:Go to the grocery store and get the best tuna you can find in a can or a pouch.Put that and this in a bowl beside each other.Have people taste the regular tuna, then taste this, then taste the regular tuna again. They will be forever screwed because they can not eat regular tuna, and this is expensive.

Check Wally's first
The tuna itself is great. However later I stopped by a larger Walmart than the one I usually frequent and found it on the shelf at a third the price of what I paid on Amazon. That served as a reminder to me to always do a little more research before relying upon that largest river in Brazil for my shopping needs.

Arrived unusable
Both jars seeped all oil contents into packaging. Arrived a noxious slimy mess that I had to discard

worth every cent
I had heard of this type of tuna on Food Network's "Good Eats" and was pleased to find it at Amazon. We couldn't decide what to do with it at first because I wanted the true tuna flavor to shine. We've had it three times now and all we do is place it directly from jar (save the oil for other use) onto a platter, add feta cheese, various olives, blanched green beans, crusty bread or crackers and anything else I have and sounds good.
