Furnace Air Pressure Switch Replaces Honeywell Part # HK06NB123 - Without New Mounting Bracket

I ordered this to replace a failed HK06NB123 air switch on my Bryant gas furnace. It worked perfectly, my only complaint is that it lacks the mounting "ears" of my old switch. I'll deal with that minor inconvenience as it got the furnace back running in a hurry with -7F weather moving in. It also saved the expensive service call from a HVAC company.

The description says it's an HK06NB123 (which has 2 electrical connection tabs) but the actual product I received was an HK06NB124 (which has 3 tabs).After a little research, I found this on the web: "the HK06NB123 is the older model and has been replaced by the HK06NB124. The HK06NB124 is an improved version of the HK06NB123 and is more reliable. It also has a longer lifespan."Long story short, it worked just fine in my furnace, but you need to pay attention to the top two tabs - one is a 'normally open' connection and the other is a 'normally closed'. For my particular furnace, I needed to connect one of the wires to the 'normally open' tab.Other than the that, another thing to note is that the product I received had no screw holes like the one it replaced, nor did it have a mounting bracket. I ended up using a couple of zip ties to temporarily mount it until I can maybe find a bracket.

Bought this to replace old one and this “new” one stopped working two days into use!
