The healthy type of granola, it grows on ya this!
When I took my first mouthful it definitely didn't taste like the Amazon fresh kind that comes in the clear tub like the granola sold at Costco. I even like the Amazon fresh tub better, but after a few hand fulls of this brand my pallet got used to the no gmo, no nothing that makes everything taste better basically. And I polished off a whole bag. It didn't come in two large bags which I'm actually happy about but comes in 4or6 bags equivalent in weight or oz. Being a bag cigarette rolling smoker, I know how fast a large bag of something perishable can get stale or lose it's freshness that much more quickly than in smaller bags. The bags/pouches the granola comes packaged in are of good quality and have a good resealable liner unlike some resealable bags that don't close back correctly or come unglued after opening a few times leaving the produce in said bag to it's own devices/preservatives. I would definitely recommend this to a granola lover as I myself am not even a health nut "drums" but really like this brand and it came in the same amount of time an Amazon product would come even though it's a third party item. Again your first bite will take a bit to get used to the flaxseed especially so don't go looking to return it right after the first bite if you're basing it off, of a usual go to granola. But this brand isvery tasty without the gluttonous guilt with that of the fatty saturated gmo goodness kind.

Try Peanut Butter! Delicious, not too sweet, healthy, and cheap in 10 lb bulk
UPDATE 9/20/16 - First of all, Erin Baker and Amazon have to figure out a way to separate the reviews on their flavors. I think that is holding them back a little bit in that you can't get an average review for each flavor. For example, I'm betting the peanut butter review would be a higher average number than the vanilla-quinoa. As of now there are 194 reviews averaging 4.5 stars for ALL the flavors. More detailed data would even help Erin Baker themselves respond to what people are saying. As in marketing the 4.9 flavor more heavily, and maybe tweaking the 3.2 flavor.I have a new favorite flavor these days. The peanut butter. Delicious and just 7 grams of sugar per serving, and lots of protein. I bought it in the 10 pound box and in a month's time I'm nearing the end of it (!!). I'm a skinny 40-something dude and I eat a bowl or two of cereal but this is just one of maybe 20 flavors I have to choose from, but it's just been in heavy rotation because it is so so yummy. I mix with other cereals sometimes, or toss in some cut up fruit, or just go straight peanut butter. Sometimes I mix in some of the chocolate granola to make a reese's-style "dessert" bowl. If you compare the sugar to the other big brands Erin Baker tends to be a bit lower, for example the Bob's Red Mill granola I have bought in the past usually has 11-14 grams of sugar per serving, and Erin Baker is is like 6-12 grams. Nature valley has 12 grams of sugar, quaker oats oatmeal has 13 grams, etc. I hate finishing a bowl of cereal and feeling shaky and or queasy from too much sugar. What about COST? I paid 26 cents an oz for the 10 pound box, with free shipping. I've seen it as low as 22 cents a lb. Compare to any other quality granola and it is tough to beat. I consider the "KIND" granola the best competition and they come in over 30 cents a lb.I enjoy the chocolate flavor (like eating a bowl of crushed no-bake cookies with milk), though it is too sweet for me on its own so I often tame it by mixing with a neutral flavored cereal like grape nuts or a plain granola. Otherwise I consider it more of a dessert. Fruit and Nut is also really good, and the oatmeal raisin is pretty good too. I didn't like the apple cinnamon that much. I have been buying Erin Baker granola for years and will keep doing so. Now if they would just separate the reviews by flavor I could review each one haha.

My favorite granola
Okay, I admit I am addicted to this granola. I've had several brands of chocolate granola over the years, from "name" brands to local-made granola. This is by far my favorite brand. The granola is nice and crunchy with the right amount of chocolate flavor, both coating the oats as well as the pieces of chocolate dispersed in the product. My favorite application is mixed with yogurt, but I've eaten it with milk and just straight out of the bag.I'd purchased the 1lb bag for years until I came across the 10lb package late last year at the Erin Baker website. I was hesitant on ordering that much as I was concerned about it going stale. The 10lb order comes in a basic plastic bag zip-tied inside a cardboard box. It took around 6 weeks for me to eat it all (well, myself and 2 of my kids) and by the last week or so, it was starting to go stale. If you think it will take you longer than 6-8 weeks to eat it all, you might reconsider buying the 10lb bag (unless you have air-tight containers to store it).I will note that I purchased my 2nd 10lb bag from Amazon and after a couple weeks it is starting to taste slightly stale. I am not sure if it's just luck of the draw with the products I received or if Amazon's storage/tranportation process is different or it was just time of the year I order (batch from Amazon shipped in the summer). I'll have to see once I order the next batch in the fall.

Doesn't give that taste of "freshness". However, you know it's a healthy snack and not sweet.
