Good lithium replacement batteries
I think they work very good for my old Panasonic Mini DV Camcorder. The one I had before that I charged was opened so it had to be replaced. I would suggest to someone to buy them.

Beware! Manufacturer quality control issue, plus two design issues make these unusable.
I bought this 2pc set of replacement batteries for my older Panasonic 3CCD digital video camera. Before I begin my review, I wanted to clarify that the Amazon listing stated that these Kastar replacement batteries are comparable to the Panasonic battery, model CGA-DU12, that came with my video camera, although the replacement Kastar batteries I received state CGA-DU07.Immediately, I noticed that one of the batteries (see attached pics) was split open due to improper sealing when manufactured. That was the first problem, which could be fixed with either a replacement battery or, possibly, with some glue along the seam or use of a soldering iron with a flat tip to run between the two halves of the casing. Regardless, the battery should be properly sealed before shipping to a customer. This is a quality control issue at the manufacturer. Then, when I tried seating the batteries onto my video camera's battery port, I noticed that they were slightly too short to seat snugly in the battery port, thus very easily disconnecting with only gravity, vibration or the slightest rotation of the camera. The battery cases need to be just a wee bit taller (from the connector side of the battery to where the notch for the snap lock is at, see attached pics). In order to use these batteries, I will have to glue the first battery's casing myself or get a replacement, and I will have to wedge something between the notch at the bottom of the battery and the locking mechanism, just under the thickness of a Popsicle stick or toothpick, so the battery can maintain a constant connection.Upon a much closer inspection of the original Panasonic battery and the replacement Kastar batteries, it is also apparent that the actual metal connectors inside of the casing (see attached pics) are slightly lower from the top notched-out connector area, which, if they were closer to the top edge, would still be usable when seated in the power port, even if the camera were to be vibrated, turned or allowed to rest on the tripod, subject to gravity. This is a design issue at the manufacturer. If it were only on one battery, then I'd call it a defect only, then ask for a replacement, but, sadly, both batteries are the same.As I mentioned, when trying to use the batteries, they wiggle loose, thus the camera loses power and, with great frustration, I do not realize that fact until I step behind the camera and see that the display is black, meaning that I must start over and re-record the entire video. On the positive side, the batteries seem to accept a charge from the Panasonic AC charger that came with the video camera, when fully seated in the charger itself, and the batteries seem to be of the same specs as the original Panasonic battery (see attached pics) that came with the camera. I cannot test whether the batteries will hold their charge for the same duration as the original Panasonic battery, however, due to them wiggling loose repeatedly. The seller shipped these batteries to me quicker than I was expecting and, hopefully, the return process will be without headaches. In a pinch, yes, I could make these batteries work, with some modifications/repairs, so I rated them 3 out of 5 stars.UPDATE: The seller contacted me about the design flaws and has forwarded my recommendations to his manufacturing team, and refunded my purchase. If the primary flaw (the metal contacts inside of the slotted top portion of the batteries) gets fixed, I would like to repurchase these batteries and upgrade my product review at that time.
