Very good tires with great value
Switched my mountain bike tires to this comfort bike tire so my kid can bike to school. Paired them with the Sunlite Bicycle Tubes (would stay away from the Slimes tubes if possible). Very smooth and comfortable ride. Decided to go with Schwinn over the Kendall since it seemed to be a better value - Kendall seemed to wear out fast. The tires were a little bit stiff when first comes out of the box - I put it under the sun for 30 minutes and that seemed to soften it up a little bit. Install was relatively easy - it is a 3 in a scale of 1-10 (with 1 being easiest). Once installed, the tubes and tires fit nicely around the rim w/o any apparent distortions. Definitely recommend this tires for those looking to upgrade their mountain bike tires to comfort tires. Update 9/26/2015: Love these tires so much I bought two more for my younger son's bike. These tires works great along with the Sunlite Standard Presta Valve Tubes, 26 x 1.90. Read a lot of comments about the difficulties a lot of people have put the tires on so I decided to add some pics and instructions. 1. Add just enough air to the tube so that it will form a circle by itself 2. Slide the tube and valve through the rim and then put the tire around the tube and rim. At this point, the tire is just around the tube - not push in yet. 3. Now, just focus on one side of the tire and push it into the rim. Easiest is to start where the valve first - make sure that the blue line on the tire is no longer visible. Don't worry about the other side of the tire. 4. Just keep pushing the tire into the rim and going around the whole tire until ALL one side of the tire is in. 5. Now flip the rim over and start working on the other side. Again start from the valve and start pushing in the tire into the rim. 6. When you get to about 7/8 through the tire, you will encounter resistance. I used a wrench handle as leverage and push the remaining 1/8 of the tire in. DO NOT USE ANY SHARP TOOL. 7. Then just slowly filled the tire with some air. Tighten the valve nut. Bounce the tires a few time to make sure the tube is even distribute. 8. Check to make sure the tire are completely in the rim, ie, you SHOULD NOT see any blue line on the tire 9. Repeat this process until it is complete fill. I used just my hands and a wrench and each tire typically took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. Hope these pics help.

Very nice "Rail to Trail" tire
I purchased these to replace my worn out mountain bike tires. I'm riding the bike more on the street and hard packed limestone "Rail to Trail" paths. These are a little narrower than my old tires and measure about 1-3/4" installed. They have a nice center lug pattern that rolls great on the street. There is just enough side lugs to help navigate basic trails. I inflated them to around 35psi and this provides a good compromise between ride and speed on all surfaces. The listing headline states the the bead is Kevlar, but nowhere on the tire or packaging is this stated. On the box and further down on the listing it is spec'd as a steel bead. As others have stated, the box says Schwinn, but the actual tire is branded Innova, but that is fine. I have ridden a couple hundred miles on mixed surfaces with these and they are doing great. The tire is wearing well, as most of the mold flash and tiny nubs are still on the tire. Easy to install and they perform and look good. Recommended.

Good tire at a good price
So far, I am pretty happy with these. I bought these to replace the tires on my Schwinn Cruiser which were all cracked from dry rot. Its too bad that they needed to be replaced because they still had good tread on them. The original tires were a little wider, the 2.125" 'ballon' style cruiser tires. These were a little softer to ride on but they have too much resistance to them. I like the way these tires roll down the road, they are firmer and have less resistance. I like that they have a very mild tread on them for dirt road / driveway traction. I like that they are a little narrower, 1.95" and are rounded instead of flat so that they handle so much better than the originals. Here is what I don't like and why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, I don't like that it is sold as a Schwinn tire, when all that is Schwinn is branding on the packaging it comes from. These are clearly not Schwinn tires, and do not even have any Schwinn branding on the tire themselves. Schwinn decided to outsource cheap cheap tires and put them in their package. I feel that is dishonest and misleading. So far I think that these will last long enough, but you can tell its a cheaply made tire, and when you spin it, it isn't a perfect roll...but not awful. Next time around I think I will buy something a little higher quality even though these are very cheap, and pretty decent overall.

Best Road &Trail tire I have ever tried, period.
Best R&T bike tire I have tried, period. My Trek Mountain Bike daily ride surfaces includes pea gravel, loose dirt, broken chip pavement and smooth asphalt. I needed a tire tread more like my childhood Spider Bike's all round "go anywhere" utility tread which the street comfort very closely resembles. Despite the smoother tread pattern, I (surprisingly) lost very little handling and grip off road and my road riding is faster, quieter and smoother (lowered my 15 mile ride time by almost 2 minutes). The Kevlar lining makes them very solid, and less Mesquite tree thorn puncture prone than any other bike tires. I re-used my Slime tubes which are thick and require a bit of finesse to install. I removed the tires from the shipping box, clipped the zip-ties and laid them out in tire shape overnight. I installed them by first getting one tire bead on the rim, then slide tube into tire and valve stem in hole. Then work the other tire bead around until you can't slip it over the rim by hand. Then it's the double screwdriver technique to slide the rest of the tire on the rim. Once on and inflated you can test ride and I will guarantee you will be surprised, very stable and smooth. I deflate to the lowest recommended air pressure for trail riding and the upper end for my daily ride. Highly recommended. RR

Good quality tires, great price, and long-lasting
Needed new bike tires and these Schwinn tires were a great option at a good price. They look great on my bike and fit well. They’ve also held up really well over time—still going strong 3 years later, which is impressive.

Affordable heavy duty tires
I bought some crappy off brand mountain E-bike that ended up having some seriously paper thin tires that even thorns were shredding, but then I found these. Coupled with slime filled inner tubes, these work absolutely wonders. I went from having a flat every week to no flats at all! Seriously these are still going strong months later and I haven't had a single flat. Definitely recommend these!

Ticked all the boxes
Well packaged. nice quality. Able to use after airing it out for about 6 hours. Perfect fit - easy installation. First ride, quiet and nice handling improved stability in turning and resistance much better than MTB knobby tire. Very satisfied. Second order for rear wheel pending.

Amazing tire
I bought this tire roughly a year ago and it has been amazing, druing the warmer months I bike roughly 60km a week and after a full season of riding there is minimal wear. I've used the tire in pretty much every condition, it handles medium to light trail riding very well, but struggles in deeper mud. The on road use is perfect it was a little load for the first week but once the tire was worn in it was a smooth ride. I didn't see many reviews when I first bought the tire so I hope this helps someone I highly recommend this tire it is by far the best value for your money.
