Elle Decor Kindle Edition

Very elegant interior decoration magazine, for home owners, rather than professional decorators. Does not indulge in cutesy stuff. I love to drool over the photographs in both the articles and the advertising. I cannot afford very much shown, maybe nothing shown, but I like looking. Sometimes I will see something I can adapt for my lower budget home using lower cost options.

What I like best about the magazine are the pictures, the photography. It can give you ideas for your own home.

One of my favorite decorating mags. I love the accumulating style of decor rather than all at once. I decorate with things I love when I buy them. They have staying power over time. This magazine reinforces my confidence in my style.

I like keeping up on latest décor. I get some great ideas for my home.

I only occasionally read this magazine and each time I do I remember why it is only occasional. The two top design magazines, for me, that are not to the trade are Dwell and World of Interiors, followed by Architectural Digest. Those contain many examples of professional design work, both interior design and architecture. The additional articles are usually 'over the top' and so amusing and/or intriguing. Elle Decor just doesn't quite cut it past the glossy cover. But it beats House Beautiful!
