Review: Best soft holster you can get for a hook and loop setup! - I don’t know what to say other than I have purchased four of these so obviously they are up to my ultra-high standard. If you run a waste pack, backpack, or any other bag with hook and loop on the inside, these are the absolute best soft holster you can get. Obviously, some people prefer to run a kite holster with a hook and loop holster retention device, but I find that to be overly bulky and unneeded for most setups. Like I said, I have four of the MPH full-size, and two of the MPH Sub. VertX knocks it out of the park on everything they make, so if you’re on the fence, I recommend ordering it and trying it for yourself.

A: Pretty good retention built into the velcro holsters. There’s a small plastic “retention” piece included with each holster to allow for retention, preventing the firearm from falling out of the holster.

**Q: Is there a way one can make this fit a revolver?**
A: Yes

**Q: Since the G30 is a double stack .45 would the full size work best or the subcompact work best?**
A: Since the G30 is wider than the G19/17 models and the slide is just short of being as long as a G19, I would go with the the full size MPH. I think the G30 will be to wide and to long for a MPH sub.

**Q: Will the full size work for a Glock 26?**
A: Yes

### ⭐⭐⭐ Cool idea, ultimately didn't work on its own.

I own the holster (full size) and two mag pouches. I find the construction to be pretty good, and the idea is really neat. I also found the products quite easy to assemble. However, I ran into several issues: Note: I'm running a PPQ with a TLR-1. 1) The holster, in an effort to please lefty AND righty shooters, has several holes cut into the pattern. These holes caused (in my case) the structure to be inconsistent, which caused inconsistent draw success for me. Sometimes my front sight would snag the material, sometimes it wouldn't. 2) The ejection port cover (which is supposed to provide retention for the gun) was supremely frustrating to get just right, and I ultimately never did. I must have fiddled with it and reassembled the holster a dozen times, and couldn't get a consistently good retention or draw out of it. Frustrating. 3) The hook & loop just isn't very sticky. I am not confident that t will stay in place under any kind of difficult situation. Not wanting to abandon the product entirely, I purchased two yards of SERIOUS velcro, and applied it as necessary to fix all of my problems (see picture). My recommendation: Go get a QVO Tactical "Secondary" holster, and pick up their velcro holster adapter which is like $12. They make terrific holsters for reasonable prices, and that attachment has legit velcro which won't budge, so you can confidently store your gun and not worry about it detaching.
