Purchased a couple of these for the kitchen, when I realized they can as easily be used for plant supplies. I cultivate bonsai and have many, many different types of soil, pebbles of various sizes, gravel, sands, turface, vermiculite, rocks, screening, copper wire, etc... all being housed in large coffee cans. Because I work with smaller amounts of supplies, it takes time to finish using the larger bags, thus the tin coffee cans.Several days ago, I dropped a can of mixed soils and still finding leftovers on the floor. Scraped up what I could save and put the soil in an extra Rubbermaid 10 cup I have.Voila! Finally a practical solution, with no rust or corrosion, easier to carry, stack beautifully and can see the contents without ugly labels over the tin cans. Why I didn't think of this 40+ years ago, is beyond me. Just finished filling 12 containers and realized I need at least 10 more. Have another cabinet next to one shown, with additional supplies.Goodbye coffee tins, hello Rubbermaid!

I like that these are stackable and fit easily in my pantry. They are not as clear as other containers. However, you can see from photo I can clearly identify what is in the container. It seals very well and keeps food fresh. If your looking to organize your pantry like I was, this is a great item to get started.

I feel that the plastic Rubbermaid containers are better some of the same kind being sold. They are not cheap, but they hold up better and for longer. The lids all seem tight fitting, and the Rubbermaid comes in just about any size you could want. When rodents got into my pantry during the cold weather, I purchased lots of Rubbermaid containers and put food that the rodents went after into them. Not only did it keep the critters out, but it keeps my foods from getting stale as quickly. The main problem with plastic is that it stains when you store things that have tomato sauce, etc. in them - but they don't break all to pieces if you drop them either. Much better than glass or ceramic if you have children.

These are very nice and as advertised. I wish they were available in a square shape as well because I feel they would work well in the refrigerator and maybe even the freezer in spite of being advertised for dry food storage. The lids work very well.

These are great containers. I use them for organizing the dry goods in my pantry and have found them to be very satisfactory. They keep food fresh and bugs out. They wash fine in the dishwasher and they stack well. One thing I would mention is when using them for dry goods such as flour or sugar, a 1 cup measuring cup fits nicely into them, but if you need to level off with a utensil, it is hard not to spill a bit.

These containers are the best investment I have a made for my Kitchen/Pantry. I have had them for the last 5+ years and have never had to change the system. They stack well and fit great in my small pantry. I have had so many friends compliment me on the organization of my pantry and all thanks to these containers. Being Indian, we use a lot of ingredients for our cooking, and need plenty of boxes. Since these boxes stack so well and fit into small places, I have not had a space crunch. Definitely worth buying!

These are wonderful, as part of a pantry storage system, along with both larger, and smaller ones. They stack well, since all are the same length and width, with differing heights. Using these to organize my pantry cabinet increases storage capacity greatly.

I've bought a lot of these...I use them at home and at my cafes for baking ingredients and smoothie mixes. They don't take up a lot of shelf space and we can keep things nice and organized. It's the perfect size to stick leftovers in since I always cook extra...I'm busy I want/need leftovers. The shape lets me fit quite a few in the fridge and they stack nicely in my container drawer. I will NEVER buy a round stupid container again!
