This jump rope is fantastic. Great design; very durable and well built. My attention span is too short for just about any other type of exercise- so this is the perfect way for me to squeeze in a quick minute workout whenever I want. I used to have a plastic jump rope - not nearly as nice, but this one feels much sturdier; I was surprised. Nice packaging, great gift idea.I actually started reading up about jumping rope and it's shown to have so many benefits - including building bone mass - which was important to me as I'm a 41 year old mom starting to feel my years :) I'm also excited about research showing that as few as 4 minutes of intense cardio workout a day provides many of the same cardiovascular and health benefits as much longer exercise routines. I actually use this jump rope in my living room (benefit of hardwood floors) and even with just a few minutes of jumping rope a day I have higher energy levels and feel more mentally focused - not to mention that getting up the stairs is much easier. Highly recommend!Oh yeah - I jump rope barefoot - best no hassle workout ever - love it!

This is NOT for tall people. I'm almost 5' 6" and I would say that anyone taller than me should not purchase it. There is a card that accompanied the rope showing the right fit and I'm barely at that point. I have removed the handles to see if it can be lengthened, but it's already at maximum length. Other than being on the short side, it's light, comfortable, and seems to be decent quality.

The jump rope itself is very nice but I was surprised by the length. It's fine for me to do regular jump roping but too short to do double unders which is what I bough it for. I wanted a jump rope I could customize to my own length and there was nothing extra in the handles to adjust the length to longer. I'm only 5'4" so I'm not sure why there wasn't more length provided.

Despite other reviews saying this was okay for someone 6'0" and someone who considered themselves "very tall," and despite the description of the rope as 9'10" long, the actual package states the rope is 2.7 M (about 8'10"), and I measured it myself to verify. (That length includes handles) This means at max length, it's more appropriate for someone around 5'9" or less. At 6'1" it was definitely too short for me.The construction of it and method of shortening the cable seems totally fine, and you could pour some sand or shot in the handles if you wanted them to be weighted. Wish the manufacturer spared the extra $.04 for the 12 inches of cord that would make this usable for me.

When I received this rope, felt and used it, I knew right there this one was quality.ROPE CABLE: An iron jump rope with a rubber coating is something you just can not top. Other brand ropes made of "high grade" plastic have a knack for snapping when you least expect it. These little fellas will last as long as you'll use them.HANDLES: This does not look or feel like the generic hard plastic handles most ropes are made of. There's a foam cushion over the pair for maximum comfort during palm gripping. Another added feature is the hollowness of the handle which allows you to weight it with sand for increased resistance.The one con (not applicable to everyone) was the rope length. Now this has less to do with the rope itself and more to do with my height (6' 2"). But I did notice one or two other complaints in some reviews. But like I said, it's not really the dealers fault per se. And this is definitely not a deal breaker.CUSTOMER SERVICE:And here is where they excelled. I wrote to them about the rope length problem I had, and they quickly got back to me. They asked me to exercise some patients, that they'd be rolling out a longer version of this and it would be sent to me at no extra charge.. Now, in this cut throat world of business, how many people are willing to do that? And so I waited ... a while. But they let me in on why there was a delay. And true to their word they sent me a longer version. So, I must thank them here for their "relateability" and kindness.VERDICT: Wish I could give this more than 5 stars. A definite DEFINITE recommend.

Received the jump rope on time. It is very light with a good grip on the handle. The length of the jump rope is correct for my daughter, but might be a little short for a tall person.

Rope was to short. Also NOT MADE FOR OUTDOORS. The company stated money back guaranteed, but when I returned the item they charged me for shipping. Total rip-off.
