Forced: A Bad Boy Billionaire Romance (The Blackthorn Brothers Book 1)

Lots of hotness along with intriguing story. Excellent and fast read! And it continues in another book. Very nice indeed.

This book was ok. Its story line was kind of weak. I often had a hard time distinguishing between 3rd person and 1st person. On th we plus side therevwasv plenary of sex but the sex seem so speratic that it just occurred all the time. It had some high points but the sex seemed to lack detail. I would recommend this book though. I read it in about a week. This book held my attention and was not one that I wanted to put down and not pick back up again.

"There's too much steam to fog up the mirror"!! Sex scenes are abundant in this story but monotonous and the same so I just skimmed them. There's a good mystery plot but it didn't catch the intensity and suspense that I was expecting. Ive read better books of this author before so I'll continue reading.

Not even sure where to start! So, so tortured. Wren is so tortured by the things that have been done to her in the past, she is having a really hard time thinking anything could be good for her. She has been betrayed by every person in her life at one point or another including Ash. Ash has virtually made a deal with the devil (the one he knows) and agrees to marry Wren, the only woman he has ever loved in return for his families protection after his father is killed. Turner (Wren’s Father) agrees to take care of “the problem” as soon as they sign a marriage license. One he demands in order to protect Wren after the evil cancer that is eating him alive takes him. He wants assurance that she will be taken care of and Ash is the only man she has ever loved so blackmail is in the cards. Unable to fight her father and her feeling, Wren finally just succumbs to her father’s wishes. Although she finds things out a little late which only serve to torture her even more that the past has for the last 8 years. This story broke my heart, made me ugly cry and I swear to god I could actually feel Wren’s guilt emitting off the page. Even if it is misplaced. I laughed, cried, screamed and was actually numb at one point cause too much feeling was happening and none it the good kind for the most part. Sammy (the shelter dog Ash gets for Wren) sure did do a lot to give this story some feel good emotions in this story after such a turbulent ride. This Author is so very good at making the feeling come out of you with her stories. She has a way of making you really care about the characters and you just want to jump right into the story and fix all the wrongs. This is a dark romance with lots of angst, sexiness, and a mired of emotions you would not think reading a book could induce. I so totally loved this story and cannot wait for Shattered, the next book in the series.

Love this book. It's dark, as the tiled say forcefully with lots of suspense and an alpha hero that will knock your socks off trying to get his womans regardless of how many demons she is fighting or how much her past is chasing her. It is not for the fainted heart since the is a lot of steamy and yet violent scene in it that might be irritating for some folks. But in the end it is gonna be explained why.

you're looking for something hot to read,this is a book for you! I couldn't stop reading it, I read it in just one day. Lots of passion and an interesting story about two people's passion in a different way. If you open for something different, this is a book for you. Even if the book describes unusual sex between two people in love, there is also an interesting story behind them and their families..

Ash is just trying to protect his family when he goes to see his ex girlfriend's father for help. Little did he know he would get more than he bargained for. When he asks for help he's told he'll receive it under one condition.. He must marry his ex girlfriend. Ash finds Wren and he can tell his feelings for her are still alive and well. At first Wren can't forgive Ash for breaking her heart all those years ago, but eventually Ash starts breaking down her walls. Wren realizes she never stopped loving Ash. When Wren let's her guard down her life becomes way more complicated. Will Ash still love Wren after he finds out what secrets Wren has? I highly suggest his book to anyone who loves a steamy romance. Forced is written so well you will not be able to put this down! Can't wait to finish this series! On to the next Shattered!

I'm frankly amazed I finished his book. Hopefully I avoided being too spoilery by talking in broad generalizations without specific plot points, but I had to vent about why I dislike this book so much. If you're terribly concerned about spoilers, skip to the last paragraph. The premise is that Ash agrees to marry Wren as part of a deal with her father so he can keep his family safe after his father's murder. The pair loved one another but ultimately broke up because their relationship was so volatile. The problem? There is very little real friction here. All the friction hinges on Wren's past trauma, which is pretty easy to guess before it's revealed, and causes her to be super wishy washy as soon as something bad comes up. But everything can be solved with good sex and retreading the same conversation all over again. There is never any satisfactory explanation for why Wren's father is so hellbent on them getting married. The couple justifications that came up don't cut it. The dialog is really bland. It oscillates between Wren asserting she's "broken" while Ash insists she stay with him, and the two professing love for one another. Usually the switch is brought about by them having sex. There's nothing interesting about either the setting or the plot, which can be summed up in like three points. It was a boring meander from sex scene to sex scene. Pretty much the only good thing about this book is the sex scenes, which were hot enough. Forwarding for those that aren't into those things: there was one sex scene that involved a flogger and anal. The inclusion of BDSM seemed like an afterthought to tick off a "rough sex" checkbox. Get it if you like the free preview, otherwise don't waste your time or money (assuming this book doesn't stay free forever). Very glad I only wasted the former on it.

I read to escape, this did it for a few hours thanks for the distraction. Not sure why I am forced to review before I can close the book though.

Another great romance story with erotic and steamy scenes and a rekindled love, brought together with a forced marriage by a sick crime lord who had his intended son-in-laws dead father's blood on his hands. Who manipulated the hero of this story, Ash to marry his daughter before his imminent death due to cancer and in return he would get Ash's father's killers. The struggle Ash had to bring his past love Wren back to Seatle would have tried thé patience of à saint. But Ash still loved this crime lord's daughter. This story deals with sexual abusé, criminal manipulation in to getting people to do their bidding and then tossing.them aside or gavé them disappear, all to get what they étant. Which in this case was for Ash to marry Wren before her father died with a promise that he would get the people who killed Ash's father. So the story is full of deceit and lies. But what ties it all together is the love that is rekindled between Ash and Wren which is how this story iso held together, even though Wren's denial, you cannot deny your true feelings and they come back and bite you. A long struggle ensues, as Wren has dark issues to deal with and until she can deal with them, which she does after being encouraged by Ash of her abuse of her reprocher and his death at her hands is surely enough for anyone can take.Which world make anyone go off the rails and go wild. Great read. . Brest repas.

Normally like cali mackay but this book was good but kept putting it off reading it so was a bit hard to get right into story

Good characters and plot, although a little repetitive. No cliff hanger, which is A bonus. A good start to the series.
