Highly recommended. Really comfortable and excellent for hiking. I thought they were very pricey and I was reluctant to buy them. I've now several pairs and ask my kidsvto buy them if they want to get me a birthday present! These are just so comfortable you won't be sorry.

They're good for summer but they do make for a tight fit.

I've had Bridgedale socks before, but usually thicker ones. However, these are ideal for light hiking in from spring through to autumn. They will keep your feet warm on cooler days but they breath well on warmer days. The only minus point is their size. I am size 11 (UK) and their chart says Large is UK size 9 to 11.5, but they are at full stretch on my feet. If I purchase any more pairs, I will try Extra Large. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

I love these socks, but can only give three stars as the sizing is off, and they shrink massively in the wash (hand / wool wash setting).
