I was going to return these due to the cutting surfaces sticking on opening. I loosened the nut on the bottom cutter. That seemed to do the trick. I have a full stable of Fiskars garden tools and I was surprised this one stuck closed. A little adjustment to the cutting surface and behold no stick.

these work very well, I trim my roses and small vines with these an they have been very helpful. they have stayed sharp and seem to be durable. they are a good size for my hands and not hard to utilize.
