I will warm you, it come with no bracket or bolts and there is no way to mount it without the back rack mounting brackets which cost a additional $80. But it is very easy to install unless you have a plastic bed liner. It’s a lot sturdier than I expected and I get more use out of it than I expected. I highly recommend.

Nice product, well built
Very well built product, heavy duty. Instructions were a bit vague for mounting the tonneau cover adaptor bracket. There is no extra hardware so make sure I have what you need before starting the installation.

Compact rack
The Backrack 15026 Short Rack was perfect for my needs—I only tie oxygen, acetylene and argon bottles vertically to the rack for transport. I didn’t want a bunch of rack standing up above the cab so I am happy with this design. The rack sits below the cab as you can see in the photo so if you plan on leaning materials or a ladder on the rack, it would be better to get the regular rack. Install was easy and the rack is very sturdy.

Warning - No mounting hardware included
Since there were conflicting answers about the inclusion of the mounting hardware, I figured I'd have a 50/50 chance of it being included. Turns out it is NOT included. That by itself is not that big of a deal. What is a big deal to me is that after purchasing I found out that the mounting hardware, (which looks to consist of two L-shaped brackets, two flat brackets that go over the bed rails, two bolts, two washers and two nuts - amounting to about 1 pound of steel maybe; COST almost as much as the rack itself! I definitely feel taken advantage of by the manufacturer. If they want to charge double for the thing and include the required hardware, that would be fine and fair. At least you would know what you're getting into. Spell "MACS" backwards and that's what this product and the manufacturer are. I'm going to sit on this for a day or two to decide if I'm going to buy the ridiculously overpriced hardware or send the RACK BACK.

Fits perfect and was as expected ..the only issue is the brass coloured bolts to hold the rack to the brackets but nothing a little spray paint didn't fix
