For more than two decades, homebrewers around the world have turned to Brew Your Own magazine for the best information on making incredible beer at home. Now, for the first time, 300 of BYOโs best clone recipes for recreating favorite commercial beers are coming together in one book. Inside you'll find dozens of IPAs, stouts, and lagers, easily searchable by style. The collection includes both classics and newer recipes from top award-winning American craft breweries including Brooklyn Brewery, Deschutes, Firestone Walker, Hill Farmstead, Jolly Pumpkin, Modern Times, Maine Beer Company, Stone Brewing Co., Surly, Three Floyds, Trรถegs, and many more. Classic clone recipes from across Europe are also included. Whether you're looking to brew an exact replica of one of your favorites or get some inspiration from the greats, this book is your new brewday planner. Review: Tons of cool recipes! - Tons of recipes and interesting descriptions of the brews. Canโt wait to try some of my favorites (especially the Alaskan Amber). What a cool book!! Review: Great starting place for recipes - This is an awesome comprehensive recipe book for homebrewers. Even though I don't often follow others' recipes, this is perhaps the most useful recipe design book I have. You can look up a broad style family and see the "nuts and bolts" that tend to go into it, or you can use a recipe from the book and tweak it the way you like it. Or just brew your own pirate Hamms (not kidding -- it has a Hamms clone recipe) straight out of the book and live your best life if that's what you want to do. There are all kinds of examples in this book, which is super handy any way you approach it. My only complaint is that it doesn't lay flat!

Amazing book!!
Oh my... so many great all grain beer recipes with extract substitutions for those who don't have the space or equipment to brew all grain. The instructions are easy to follow and the choices of "clone recipes" are across the spectrum of all beer styles. I'm looking forward to trying the Sierra Nevada Bigfoot clone this winter.

Very good recipes, superficial instructions.
It's great to have the details of all the recipes described here; however, the 'step-by-step instructions' are not quite that. They are actually very basic for a beginner, and you need to have experience in the full grain beer-making process. For instance, the recipe for Aventinus Schneider Weisse is really difficult to follow.

Cool!
Very cool, allows/encourages you to develop recipes further. Excited to brew my first clone.

Tons of recipes. Hard cover.
This book has plenty of information but my favorite part is the amount of recopies it has. There's about 100 of them. It explains Malt Extract to Full Mash in good detail. This book is also a hard cover which makes it even better since its going to be use for years to come.

Great starting point for making clone recipes
If you have some experience brewing some basic all-grain recipes, this is a good jumping off point to recreate a wide variety of commercially-available ales and lagers. The recipes I've made were both tasty and a fair representation of the original brews. Looking forward to trying more!

Almost perfect!
I really like this book. I thumb through it often to help inspire recipes of my own or if I want to recreate one of the beers I love . It has various beers and styles ranging from classic light American lagers to rare Belgian ales. I was surprised not to find a couple clone recipes I was expecting to see but it still has a lot to offer.

Clone beer recipes
This is a very good book with plenty of recipes to meet all preferences. I have brewed approximately 10 beers so far from this book and they are very good ales. I highly recommend this book.

Great resource for new or experienced brewers
I am a pretty lazy home brewer. Lazy in that I don't really like coming up with my own recipes and would much rather use or modify a proven recipe from a reliable source. So when I saw that this book was available on Kindle I quickly snapped it up. This book has some great recipes for beers in just about every possible style. It even includes clone recipes for many world class beers like Timothy Taylor Landlord, Hill Farmstead Abner and Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. The format is also really easy to follow with ingredients, brewing steps and in some cases helpful tips. The only real negative is that I wish it gave percentages for the grains used. I am really excited to start brewing with this book though. I think I have already planned what my next 4 brews are going to be based on recipes I have found. First up Lawson's Super Session #2 (although I may use Mosaic hops).
