Best toy ever! Young baby can explore on their own, gaining a great sense of independence. It’s virtually indestructible, well designed, little fingers cannot be caught in the gears and the gears can be stopped during its rotation by babies. The music and lights are ever fascinating, the cause and effect of pressing the red button to make the gears, music and lights go keep baby’s attention day after day. Baby can remove gears and mom/dad/ caregiver can replace in a differing arrangement each time. UPDATE: the toy is now on child number two and going strong after two years of boys endlessly playing with it. Still a favorite and it really grows with the child - out two year old studies how the gears fit together to work, experiments on placements, stacks gears to see of that will work. Still a GREAT toy.

This busy gears toy was very helpful for a special needs child although any child would enjoy playing with it.

Yes, just buy it! FUN! FUN! FUN! You won't regret it and your little one will absolutely fall in love with it! I highly recommend this toy for hours and hours of entertainment. I have purchased different versions of this toy for close to a decade and it has always been a HUGE hit. This was my "go-to" gift for friends and family when they had little ones. When I was looking for a toy for my little nephews who were flying in from out of state, I was thrilled to find that it was still on the market. This is the only toy that I purchased on sight, without needing to research it or look at the various reviews. The lights, colors, sounds and especially the movement of the gears can quiet a screaming little one in seconds! My nephews (8 & 10 months old) were able to learn how to activate the movement of the gears by pressing the red "PLAYSKOOL" button. The removable gears were an added plus! The boys were very excited when they learned that they could pull the gears off, and as with most things at that age, chew on them. They attempted to put the gears back onto the toy, but at such young ages, they still needed a little assistance. I am happy though knowing that this toy will teach them and help develop their fine motor skills through fun play time. I personally don't think this toy was too loud. I thought the sounds and music were at a nice level and much less annoying than most of the other toys currently out there. When the gears are activated, the gear noise is a little bit louder, but nothing that interrupted our day or conversations. We were able to easily carry on conversations without any type of interruption or needing to repeat ourselves. At no time did I even notice the volume level of this toy. Maybe some toys' volume is louder than others? Or maybe I am just so used to extremely loud and obnoxious toys that I found this one to be pleasantly surprising. Either way, I find the music and sounds, both tone and volume, to be enjoyable. For hours and hours of pure entertainment, you simply can't go wrong!!

A good motor learning toy to help your little one , has a lot of colors and gears are nice and sturdy to play with , colors to learn and gears are easy to grab and take out. I just wished it has stand in the back or any other support to make it be still so it does making it a little hard to play when trying to put it in a standing position ( thats why my 4 stars review). but other than it’s a good quality product easy to clean.

Great 1 year old present

I work in the church nursery every Sunday. This becomes my go to toy for the kids to play with when it near the end of the hour, and I need to clean the toys I’ve played with already. I know that the kids will be engrossed with this and have 10 minutes of entertainment with it For children that are infants that’s doing pretty good. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one after some of the gears disappeared in kids pockets probably the one-year-old room uses the second one because the kids there that one to two really like it as well.

It has colors. It has music. It moves. My 7mo loves this toy. Only downside is the little pieces fall off easily otherwise it’s an awesome toy for babies

If you want a good cause and effect toy, this is the one. Push the button and it plays music and the gears all start moving. Great for autistic kids too. They can also do a matching game ~ Match the colour gear with the post it has to go on. We actually sanded off some of the colours it came with, and recoloured them to match, as our son would not put the gears on the posts if they did not match which some don't. So Playskool take note, make sure all the gears match a post colour. Great toy.

Bought for my 2 year old granddaughter who has cerebral palsy. She loved it. Her new favourite toy.

This is a problem if you were buying a gift for a toy drive. FALSE advertising.

The toy is exactly what I expected but the packaging is not original packaging. It comes in what looks like a Hasbro factory direct cardboard box.

This item doesn’t always turn on and when it does it’s short lived. Not worth it because it doesn’t move by hand, only electrically
