dimmer switch can short
I love salt lamps and have several but they come with the butterfly bulb attachment and on/off switch, so I opt for the dimmer so I can adjust based on the application. They fit well in the standard hold although you need to apply some pressure while screwing in the bulb. Only had one short out on me but they replaced asap.

Good quality and sturdy
These are good quality and work with heavy (10lbs+) lamps and smaller. They allow veneration under the lamp preventing the cord from overheating which is what took out the last cord I was using. I don't really care for the dimmer switch, but it works. I've been testing for weeks without issue.
