TECHEF - CeraTerra - 8 inch Ceramic Frying Pan – PFAS, PTFE & PFOA-Free, Toxin-Free Ceramic Coating, Induction-Ready, Oven & Dishwasher Safe, Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan Made in Korea

I bought this pan at the same time as a Vesuvio and a Moneta Azul Finegres. i know that some reviewers here have said that their box said tis pan contains teflon, it does not, that was a misprint, I contacted Techef USA from their website and asked, this is truly PTFE (Teflon) and PFOA free. I was looking for cookware not made in China, so I love that this pan is made in South Korea. The non-stick performance of this Techef Cerraterra is great and I already knew very well how to care for it to keep it performing. It is a great size for small crepes and omelets, the slope of the side is little more than I'd like for sliding things out but the release is so good it still works very well. The handle is comfortable and ergonomic, and this pan cooked evenly and heated up quickly too. I did find that the rivets tended to retain stuff it seemed no matter how hard I tried to clean around them and I would sometimes get dribbles coming out of them as I preheated the pan, but on my next Techef I will be more careful to not get food/oil/butter that high in the pan as to collect under the rivets. I say next pan because I did end up killing this pan. I accidentally left it unattended preheating oil too long and it carbonized really badly, and though I was able to remove all of it there was a small coin sized patch that was never non-stick again even despite the baking soda trick. This pan is affordable enough though that I have no problem buying a replacement and I also plan on buying one for my mother who has arthritis in her wrists and could use a small, light weight, high performing non-stick, healthy pan.

I have been using a high-end Teflon pan for years, and after having the warranty replace it 4 times, I was over it. I have a few Techef pans so decided to try this one. It is by far the best pan I have used. It is non-stick without the Teflon coating and cleans up early. The cook using this pan is perfect.

Greatest pan I ever used. Owned square pan and planning on ordering round wok. Great with induction stove that keeps bottom of pan really clean without scratch and gas residue. Real non stick and light. I learned not to use in high heat right away with any pan for the long lasting effect including with any coated pan including this other than steel pan. U take care pan will be good for years to come. Do not pour cold water while pan is still hot. Cool down and wash gently. Real bon stick. Love

I have had this pan for almost 6 months. I use it almost every day. Us usually I throw my non stick pans away after a few months of use. Not anymore. This TECHEF pan is a workhorse. In need very little oil if any, and never sticks. After 6 months the center has darkened a little (see photo) but absolutely nothing sticks to it. I am sold on this brand. The heat distribution is good, it’s convection friendly and the easiest pan I have ever cleaned. I love it so much I have bought two additional sizes. Buy it you won’t be disappointed.

I have been using my pans from Te-Chef for over a year now because I have had problems before with pans warping and the surface pitting so I decided not to write a review until I had used them for some time. These pans have held up very well! They are easy to clean, easy to cook with, and have not warped or pitted yet. The nonstick surface has remained smooth. They are very good value for the money and still look as good as new even though I use them at least twice a week. I highly recommend them for the quality, value, and durability.

Spent several hours researching pans w/o harmful substances. This pan seemed to be the solution. Cleaned the pan per instructions and never over heated the pan. Used only on Medium or Low -Medium heat. Eggs stuck to the pan, big time. Fried eggs ripped to shreds when gently trying to loosen them with a silicone spatula. Tried fried eggs again after a wipe with grapeseed oil. Again, eggs stuck and were destroyed when trying to loosen. Noticed that the very light oil film i applied tended to puddle in several areas of the pan when heated and did not maintain the evenly coated surface I applied. This phenomenon has to due with the surface materials causing the oil not stay a film but to puddle into low areas in the pans surface. Also noticed that the sides of the pan did not have any of the oil film to prevent food sticking to the sides. Tried a bit more oil but with similar results. It appears that the only way to keep the pan surface lubricated was to use a large amount of oil. I could use a stainless pan with a light oil film to get better results. Contacted the seller who said I could return the item (but at my expense.) Given the economics of shipping and the cost of the pan it didn't make sense to return. My experience is that the pan doesn't cook eggs well w/o a significant amount of oil and low heat. Pan cleans well once the oil is removed. Disappointed that I spent so much time researching for such a poor result. Maybe you will have a better result. I would appreciate postings discussing how the product worked well for them and the method. Otherwise I reserved the pan for cooking other food but not eggs.

First, the product materials feel of decent quality. Not super premium (this is not a $160 pan), but far from a cheap pan you would find at the discount store. It works well, heats fast, and cleans easily in my 6 months of use. That said, you need to treat them responsibly. Hand wash only. Dry immediately after washing. Never use metal utensils (even when serving). I would also caution against using high-heat above medium/medium high. As long as you are responsible, and value the materials used in its construction (or rather those that are not present) it’s a good buy. I wish they sold a complete set with everything they had to offer in this line.

This is a great paan. You can cook eggs in it with no oil and the slide out easily.

I love this lil pan! It works great for eggs and whatever else you want to cook in it. I use a tiny bit of avocado oil and it works like a charm. It does get very hot, so wait till it cools off to wash it and wipe it clean. It cleans like a breeze! Am very happy with my purchase. Would recommend this product.

This looks like a good quality 8" pan that is built well. I like the fact that it can be transferred from stovetop to oven because of the metal handle. This frying Pan DOES NOT contain TEFLON - PTFE as the earlier reviewer said it did. The packaging clearly shows this to be the case as per the images I took of the pan on arrival. Happy cooking. Note: I will update my review if I find any issues frying with this pan.

Waited to review until I'd used it enough to ensure it lived up to its claim of being non-stick. Very satisfied with all my frying endeavours with this pan.

It has a nice depth and is great for small amounts of food. Good weight and easy to clean.
