Call me nuts but I use it for my knees, elbows and hands (yes, hands) and leave it on the skin for 15 minutes... ok, I admit, for about 20 minutes. My bad. I sometimes feel like jumping up and down because it burns and it's not such a pleasant experience but I do it for the sake of beauty. I rinse with water and immediately apply a copper cream which is used after chemical peels, that's a cream that does wonders, it helps heal faster and better, it's also sold on amazon and it's actually recommended by doctors after chemical peels. I keep the skin protected with this cream for the next following days because the skin is now extremely dry and it peels off. Yes it does, it's like shedding an entire layer of skin. I sometimes take away large pieces of skin off with my fingers. I really need some protection because I might even get infected if I don't. If you chose to do what I do, keep the skin disinfected and clean all the time and use petroleum jelly/Vaseline or this copper cream day and night or else you might end up with an eczema or an infection.....or scars. In about a month when the shedding and dryness is over, my hands look 10 years younger, this procedure looks like stimulating the collagen production (that's actually what they claim it does), it's absolutely amazing the results I've had since I start using it. I used it twice in 2013 and I believe that would be enough throughout one's year or else one might end up looking like a shedding reptilian for the other half of the year. I am a female, turning 40 at the end of this year and my hands look like of a 25 yo, not kidding and not exaggerating. Before using this peel they looked their age, I was so shocked they aged so badly in the last years or may be it was because I was aging differently on different parts of my body and it didn't make sense to me why my face looks so young while my hands look that old. I have already had 3 lasers done on my face 3 years ago, I have absolutely no wrinkles, my face looks amazing and much younger for my real age and people have some difficulty believing I am in my late 30s, turning 40 very soon.
