Siggi's skyrr is the most delicious, period. There is no comparison in the yogurt aisle. If you enjoy artificially flavored and colored chemicals posing as yogurt screaming "I was extruded in a factory and thickened with tapioca starch to a slimy watery consistency ",then this pure, dense, healthy, delicious, heavenly form is not for you.

Compared to what it goes for in the stores buying through this supplier was too expensive. I see where Amazon's own food network sells it a lot cheaper. It's the only yogurt I buy. Sent to my mom to try it out.

This yogurt is the thickest I have seen yet. The reason for this is because of the way it is made. In the Icelandic tradition, it is strained, removing the bulk of the liquid and leaving a much higher concentration of protein. A 5.3 oz container has 14g of protein. The product is fat free as per the tradition, it is made from skim milk. The consistency of the yogurt is a little different from that of traditional yogurt and also from Greek style yogurt. In addition to being thick, it has a glossy sheen to it. You may need to stir it a bit as there can be a slight amount of separated liquid. What I really like about this yogurt is that it is only lightly sweetened, only 9g of sugar. If you like a very sweet yogurt, this isn't for you. However if you aren't a fan of overly sweet things and like the natural taste of yogurt, then you should try this product. The other things I love about this yogurt is that it contains cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup or beet sugar (which may be GMO). The milk is obtained from grass fed cows and is produced without the use of recombinant bovine growth hormone. The product is certified GMO free, gluten free, preservative free and doesn't contain any artificial sweetners or fillers (such a gelatin).It's the real thing and in my estimation, it is delicious!
