YAMATIC 3000 PSI 2.5 GPM Pressure Washer Pump, Vertical 7/8" Shaft

At this price I was a little leery of purchasing this pump. Received it yesterday and installation took about 20 mins. It was a quick job getting it on my pressure washer and when I started it up I was amazed at the difference between what it was like before and what it's like now after the new pump. This pump is a great product at a great price. Highly recommend.

This pump fitted perfectly in my Craftsman gas pressure washer. It replaced without any complications the original Anovvi Reverberi pump of my washer, even though it is not exactly the same shape. I tested the Yamatic pump with long hours of work during a day of a roof cleaning project without any problems. The future will say how long it will last, but the Reverberis did not last long anyway and are cost more.

In my case installing on our Subaru pressure washer was straight forward and pretty simple. The price point for the pump made the DIY worth it. I'm not sure if it provides full pressure you would expect, since without the nozzle tips on the spraying wand the water comes out like a hose, with less force that the hose itself, so something isn't quite right but I'm still investigating this aspect. With the sprayer tips it seems to generate good pressure. Wondering if it might be adjustable (?) via the pump.

I installed this on a 25+ year old Briggs Quantum. Possibly because of the age of my machine, to properly install the pump, I had to modify the case of my engine as well as the pump leg as there were several areas of interference. The included washers helped but were not a complete solution to the problem.Additionally, I had to source a longer mounting bolt to make it work. The bolt was not difficult to find, but this did add an additional step and more time. Overall, installing this took much longer than I anticipated because in my situation, it was not a simple plug-and-play install.The keyway did line up, as did the mounting holes. The shaft size was fine and the pump mounted on the shaft with a bit of grease.I found the packing nut had to be adjusted, because the initial pressure setting of the pump was too aggressive for my old engine. Pulling the trigger on the gun would almost immediately kill my engine.Turning the packing nut with a 17mm wrench counterclockwise reduced the pressure to almost non-existent. Then I slowly turned the nut clockwise until I dialed in a suitable pressure that would allow my engine to stay running.I found it took around 30 minutes of use for the pump to break-in and for suitable pressure to be reliably produced. I continuously adjusted the nut until I found the perfect setting.I combined this pump with a Yamatic hose and a Yamatic gun to refresh my old machine. Overall the quality of the parts, considering the price, is good. A new OEM pump is over $325 which is about the cost of a new machine. My old machine is a bit sentimental to me, so I chose to fix it with this pump and so far, I'm glad I did.

(For a Homelite UT80993)Three months in: Hassle to remove the old pump, but easy to install this one. Fixed my pressure washer which is otherwise in great shape, and the price was right.

Shaft lined up perfectly. Installed it on an older subaru powerstroke from Costco. No regrets on this purchase works like brand new again. Water pressure is the same as original. Easy to replace takes about 10mins. Definitely brought back the power in my pressure washer.

I installed this on a Subaru EA190V pressure washer that I purchased from Costco a couple years back. Taking out the old one and putting this in was very easy. I used it right out of the box and so far it ran for 6 hours. I did notice that it tripped the unloader valve after 6 minutes of use in the beginning. I switched the tip from the 15degree to the 20 degree and it worked for 6 hours. I have not used the more aggressive 15degree again to see if increasing the pressure would make it trip again. The EA190V is rated at 3100 psi, and this replacement is 3000psi. Not sure it's that big of a deal. I did not notice a decrease in performance.There is one bolt that was a little more challenging though a ratcheting wrench made it easy.I didn't connect the soap line nor did I grease the shaft.

I bought this pump on July 4th and the install was very easy! But the unloader valve would never kick in. I messed with it and messed with it! I took that unloader valve in and out and in and out and in and out!! I adjusted it all the way out! I adjusted it turn by turn and never achieved over 1200 PSI! I bought a new sprayer! I bought a new hose! And yet, and yet, all it did was waste my time and effort! The fact that this company is in China and you can get no customer service within 2 weeks is ridiculous! I would never buy a Pneumatic pump again! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!! Buyer beware if you're foolish enough to buy from this company! I am only giving them one star because there's not a place for negative Stars! I need to pressure wash my roof and they have wasted my time! Almost 3 weeks screwing with this thing and find things I didn't need including renting a pressure tester!Addendum-- After giving up and removing the pump to return, I find the key had disintegrated into a pile of metal shavings. I got it to work after buying another key from the local saw shop. Now the pump works, but still cost me much money, time and aggrevation. Wouldn't buy from Yamatic again...

Fit was easy and simple. Nice replacement for my Subaru pressure washer.

I searched everywhere to find a replacement pump for my Ryobi pressure washer ryobi were not interested in helping found this item on amazon paid a bit extra to have fast delivery and arrived in three days from USA to Australia product just slipped in with no problems.
