Emerald Balance Total Nutrition Drink Mix, 10-Ounce Canister

This is my first experience with a green drink, so I can't compare it to any other green drinks. I think the flavor is a little to minty tasting for me, if I make it the way the directions say, but so relieved that it doesn't taste like liquid grass, which I've heard a lot of green drinks can. After experimenting with it a little, I found that adding more water, around 20 oz, gives it a lighter taste, plus, I add a squirt or two of the Skinny Girl White Cherry water enhancer to add a little more sweetness, since I use more water than called for. I mix it in a blender bottle that has a metal mixer ball in it, and add a lot of ice, to get it super cold. It seems to mix very well that way, but, it does settle, and you have to give it a little shake every so often to redistribute the mix. It doesn't have a gritty texture to it though. I don't eat many veggies so I'm hoping this drink will help fill in the nutritional gaps. I do think that it gives me a little more energy, and I can sure use more energy, can't we all ?

I am in the process of trying a few varieties of "green drinks". This one is pre-sweetened with stevia and sort of reminds me of matcha green tea powder flavor. I added it to juice the first time and it was SO sweet I could barely drink it, so I watered it down. When it's just in water the sweetness is just right but it's not a great flavor. Of course no green drink does have a great flavor... So, if you're just starting out or you can't bare the typical green drink flavor, I would recommend this drink as a good "basic" green drink that doesn't contain a lot of extras as far as herbs, probiotics, sea vegetables, etc.

Good product at a good price. We alternate this with another green drink, just for variety. The taste is good as far as green drinks go, they really are something you do for your health and the taste grows on you..:.this one is better than most. I mix it with water and a little apple juice.

This tastes good enough that you can drink it and not be disgusted. It's not a taste I desire, but it's not something I fear (which was something I was looking for in a green drink). I didn't feel much of an energy boost but I didn't use this for all that long. Basically, each time I took this item, I got horrible stomach aches. I didn't want to eat anything and I was unable to do anything that involved critical thinking. At first I was fine, but after I used this drink a couple times, I noticed stomach pains. Maybe this drink is too healthy for me? Maybe I have a bad batch? Not sure, but I won't be using this product anymore. I'm not even sure what to do with the remaining batch I do have.I think if you don't get stomach pains like I did, you will have an experience closer to the other reviews. Otherwise, you're just out 20ish bucks like myself.

My wife really likes this and puts it in her juices and smoothies.Personally I am not a fan - the ingredients are fine but the taste is a bit too 'minty' or something for me - when you put this in a juice or smoothie you WILL definitely notice it has a taste - you might like the taste but the point is that it is a distinct taste that is not hidden

You cannot drink something healthy if cant get it down. Again this is not doable a little sweeter than other green juices but really no better. I am very disappointed. Again it is not palatable. Maybe I will drop some Agave Nectar in this. I am a health buff I drink green juice. It is not doable almost.

This is the highest quality green superfood mix on the market. Just compare the product labels and see for yourself. It is aso the best tasting formulation - and I have tied many others. This will balance your pH levels and give you tons of energy as well!

I love this product and have been using it for about 10 years. It is the best tasting green drink on the market, that I have tried, and I have tried many. Not only does it take good but also has many great nutrients. I used to buy it in health food store but unfortunately they no longer stock it so I have been ordering it online. I take with apple juice. Both tast really great together.So so sad I can’t buy this anymore. Please help and let me know if anyone has found a replacement for this that tastes as good and has similar ingredients.
