This is one of the nicest toy that I have purchased from Amazon, with the price they provides absolute value, the toy material is sturdy, the grip of the bat is robust, the size is equally good for teenage as well as young boys. The size of the ball is perfect and above all I love the color of the bat and logo on the front of the bat. That makes it worth purchasing, highly recommend. 👌

Good for beginners and when on sale a good deal regular price too much

this product is really good for young people as in ages 2-5 it's a good bat but the durability and sturdiness need improvement everyone loves to use the bat the ball isn't that good, so you need withal balls to really use it I bought one of these before and the handle broke of the bat. That's when I decided to give it another go this bat works fine, I also like the multi color selection. The big thing is the handle its just to weak I need a better handle to use it. It is still a good bat for little ones since they can't swing that hard. If you're raising active boys and have not owned several of these, I'm not sure what's going on with that. This bat and ball set is practically an emblem of my sons' childhoods. Basement baseball is serious business and requires this Franklin set! We sometimes keep one in the car so they can play when they are waiting around at a brother's game, or at Grandma's house, or waiting at a brother's practice, or any slightly spacious location. Yes, they do break at some point, but usually because someone slams it (angry about a call) or an older boy is trying to show off his exit velo. This set has brought so many hours of joy and angst to my six boys that I am happy to re-purchase it repeatedly.

The bat is a bit heavy for my two year old. She was swinging a wooded mixing spoon so I thought she needed a bat and ball. Allas she's a bit too small for the bat at two years old and hasn't played with it at all. I think it's a solid item and well constructed. I think the foam ball could be frustrating to hit as I imagine it won't go far no matter how hard you swing - which could be an advantage if you have a smaller space to play in or are in a public park. All in all I'm happy with the purchase and delivery time.
