I'm an eco-friendly person and I have lost many fruits to the cheap plastic they have in the produce section. How is a Kitchen Witch supposed to keep her precious vegetables & herbs safe?Simply Eco has what I need!These are quality storage bags WITH a drawstring (no more tying knots in those plastic bags!) that you can use for any thing in the produce section. (Might wanna avoid a watermelon though!)From carrots to celery, from apples to oranges, the number of bags and variety of sizes are sure to have what you need. I've had several compliments from passerbys in the local supermarket and inquiries about where I got my awesome produce bags. And of course, the ability to help save the planet and reduce my carbon footprint is an added bonus. I've been watching things that I buy and use in my daily life and am attempting to reduce my plastic usage - especially single-use plastic such as the perforated plastic bags provided for produce in stores. Granted, these are the first mesh alternatives to plastic that I've tried so far but I do feel as if they'll last quite a while. These bags came packaged all stuffed into the biggest bag and was not as bulky as I would have expected so I adopted that as my storage method, as well. I'll stuff all of them into the largest bag and either put it in my reusable grocery bags or in my purse and I'm good to go. If you're trying to reduce your plastic use, I'd highly recommend these bags as a starting point.

If you care about the environment, these are perfect. They are easy to use and have the benefit of seeing the product inside. They also have the tare weight tagged on the side, so you can have the slight weight of the bag deducted from the total weight at checkout. Easy to use and does get second glances at checkout, so you can spread the word about the fact that there is no planet B. ,-)

First of all I love the product and the manufacturer packaging which is pretty close to non-existant. all wrapped up in one cardboard cutout(fully recyclable) and 7bags are held inside the 8th. As close to zero waste being generated. A++Now on to Amazon: why do we need a plastic envelope for an eco friendly product and on top of that it’s bubble wrapped inside. For an order to of cotton bags?? Opportunity for improvement.

I bought these to bring with me when I shop and also use them to keep some produce hanging in my kitchen. They are very light weight so they are easy to carry with you when shopping. I keep onions, garlic, apples, potatoes, and any other produce that does not need refrigeration. I hang them on hooks on my shelving unit and it keeps everything looking clean and uncluttered. So far I love them with no complaints on the quality. I would buy them again and purchase more in the future.

When we stop using single use plastic, these make a great alternative. We use the muslin bags for things like grains such as oatmeal and others, and the mesh bags for things like produce. They are easy to use, and far better. In a fairly short time, it also becomes much less expensive than continually buying plastic bags, especially the more expensive zipper type bags.So, there are many advantages, even if you don’t consider the damage being done by using so much plastic that just gets “thrown away”. I put that in quotes, because if we’re honest, we can easily see that it never really goes away. It is just getting moved from one place to another place. And eventually, we all suffer from that waste stream that never really “disappears”.

Due to my forgetfulness, I left my old shopping bags at the grocery store and never came back... I like these as much as my previous ones and thank god they're still serving me to this day. I appreciate that they give you two different types of bag for different type of grocery. The price you pay for 8 bags is pretty amazing too!
