Really like this screen, and it looked nice on our fireplace with our Texas decor. I initially worried it would look hokey/silly and maybe be a case of over-doing the Texas theme, but it wasn't- it's a nice, heavy and decent quality screen in my opinion. Husband was less excited about its looks, but what definitely caused us to return it was the fact that it wasn't really the right size for our hearth so it wasn't 100% stable. It stood a few inches away from the fireplace and has adjustable sides but we were worried our two rambunctious kittens would knock it over. It didn't help that our hearth isn't even either, which contributed to the screen not being stable and staying upright. I liked the dark brown color- it made the room "pop"- but the function didn't work out for us. Rats- we had to return.

Ordered this lone star fireplace screen, but was sent a different design. Attempted to get another one, but was told that they do not have them to send out. I was able to get a refund. I went straight to the manufacturer's website and cut Amazon out of the deal. I have the one I wanted, but couldn't get it from Amazon.This product is a great deal, well constructed, and very solid. I would recommend it. Black Forest decor is where I got mine.

Very nice. Love the look. Only issue, it's darker than the pics, but still beautiful.Shipped quickly as well.

We took measurements before ordering this item. Upon arrival, the side pieces didn’t cover the opening at the top. It was also very flimsy. Not worth the money and we returned it.

I had to return. It was a lot smaller than expected. It also had a bent corner at the bottom that was dangerous. It looks visually great. I just needed it to be bigger. Double the size for my fireplace.

I bought this for my son. He loves it but cautions that the star gets extremely hot.

Looks great but it will get hot and your child will still get burned. Just for looks not to keep children save form getting burned.
