CO210 Air Quality Carbon Dioxide Data Logger

I bought this item because i was having some challenges at work. By 8:30 am.. my brain will be out of oxygen, and will feel dizzy and ready to pass out. I though it was CO. At the end i could not figured why i was sick.. I still use this monitor in my home. If i am working in my office, by 2:00 pm.. they monitor starts beeping, the carbon levels are more than 1000 - the recommended value by EPA. I open the windows and let the fresh air in, and the values go down to around 500. I think most of us do not realize how much CO accumulates is in your home when the windows are closed or a lot of people are in close spaces. My nephews were playing in my office and maybe within 45 minutes the monitor started beeping. 2 people created high CO levels. mm.

This CO2 air quality data logger does an excellent job of displaying and recording temperature, humidity, and co2 levels. It can take about 15,000 samples, so with a little math you can set it up for short or long term recording. One deficiency is the lack of a battery backup. While it will store data without power, the clock drifts significantly while off. I was surprised to find that it had only the adapter for power. On a good note, the adapter comes with multiple outlet configuration inserts, so this is ready for international use. If you want to take average values or do other mathematical analysis, you will have to do that in your own software. The provided interface and display software does a good job setting up, controlling, retrieving and displaying the data. The data is stored in a regular delimited format, so import into other programs like Excel or Logger Pro is simple and easy. I would like to see the option to take averaged values such as taking one data point in term minutes, and that data point is the average value of the reading over that time span. This unit does not seem to be able to do that. For the price, this does a great job, and one can easily overlook the minor shortcomings above.

Ihe logger is always connected to the plug and must be placed on a desk. Take care of the snoring and use a cable binder to make it stabel when people are walking around.

Es una excelente marca de confianza para este detector de CO2, con números muy grandes y perfectamente legibles a una distancia larga. No tiene pantalla iluminada y es sencillo de manejar (vienen las instrucciones en español). Con indicación de temperatura (tanto en grados centígrados como en celsius), humedad, hora y datos de calendario. Hay que tener en cuenta que la unidad viene sin batería que pueda hacerlo inalámbrico (aunque lo dice en el anuncio) y simplemente funciona con la conexión de la unidad a la red eléctrica de casa. No es portable en este sentido.
