The Legend of Zelda, Vol. 6: Four Swords, Part 1

Out of all the Zelda stories, 4 Swords was about the weakest. Intresting then that they chose to do a 2-part manga on it. Their success is hard to argue with. They took a basic plot about Vaati and Ganon and shadowlink and expanded it into a study of Links heroism through the personalities of the 4 Links. Each one has its own personality as aspect of Link, Vio (Purple) is particularly intresting.In the end it was a cute little story from a fun, albeit short and linear, game from several years ago.

I tried for a long time to find a book that my older son would like. Although this is a graphic novel, the vocabulary is great for challenging him (this is coming from a middle school ELA teacher). He started reading these over a year and a half ago and is still interested in them. He's now nine and moving on to vol. 10.

As a HUGE Legend of Zelda fan, I fell head over heels for Akira Himekawa's mangas, especially the Four Sword saga. Link, a swordsman and a bit of a loner, thinking he can work better on his own than with a team, has to get along with three other sides of himself to save the Princess Zelda and the world from the sweeping darkness. It's fabulous and I read it over and over often - not only marveling at the beautiful artwork, bu the catching storyline as well.

The manga was amazing! I love the legend of Zelda and was hoping to have it in English for so long! I’m just glad that it was available on Amazon and in perfect condition

My 9 year old loves reading. He fell in love with this series! They're more of a manga style than a chapter book but he has read each one multiple times!

Even since my first purchased, Oot. I've been buying them non stop.

As all the Zelda Manga collection its a retold storyline of the game with some brief turns and new characters that enrich zelda's world, don't wait u are going to read how link resolves each dungeon puzzle he encounters, only that some more action wouldn't harm anyone, but whats done its done and the artwork is great!!!!!! some if u are a zelda fan this is a must have, enjoy ur reading!!!

Bought for my son and he has already finished the book. He has read it 3 times now. Lol

J'adore la série de manga d'Akira Himekawa, que je recommande à tous les fans. Ce livre, comme tous les autres, est génial. Il est en anglais, mais facilement compréhensible, du moins pour ma part.

It's a book about the game Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures on Gamecube. This books interpretation is quite interesting, as it gives a personality trait to each of the 4 protagonists. However, while the structure of this story would allow near one-dimensional characters of the main characters, each of them has depth to them that really shows across multiple reads.This is the first of two books, with this one probably being the stronger of the two, no to mention clearly more pages within.

Die ursprünglich simple Story von Four Swords wurde durch die einzigartige Persönlichkeiten der vier Links gestreckt. Da das Spiel zu viert gespielt werden sollte, war es auch nicht zu vermeiden, dass das Spiel mit 4 verschieden motivierten Links gespielt wird. Im Gegensatz zu den früheren Bänden weicht dieser Zeichenstil stark vom Original ab und ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.Ich kann die gesamte Reihe nur wärmstens empfehlen. Sie ist schön gezeichnet und die Geschichten erinnern einen an das Gefühl, das man hatte, als man das Original gespielt hat... Oder bekommt neue Perspektiven durch die interessante Neu-Interpretation der Autoren.

My daughter loves the Zelda games so bought these mini books. They read from right to left so don't fret and think you've bought a dodgy one. She reads them over and over again.
