This 15-gallon (57L), 120V DPCS Series standard heavy duty heater is made for poly (non-metal) drums and pails. The patented 360° grounded multi-stranded heating element is laminated between two extra thick layers of 20mil fiberglass-reinforced silicone rubber for excellent strength and durability. The heating element is uniformly placed to maximize heat distribution and meets NEC 427.23. It is moisture and chemical resistant, with a spring closure that can be expanded 3in (76mm). The adjustable thermostat has a range of 50 to 160°F (10 to 71°C) for poly (non-metal) drums or pails. The maximum exposure temperature on the heating surface is 450°F (232°C). We use it on a plastic 55 gallon drum of cooking oil to keep the oil viscous. Easy to install and use. Review: Buy something else - Both broke after a few months.
