Pilgrim Home and Hearth 18003 Forged Fireplace Tool Set, 28" Tall, Matte Black

May or may not be actual "Pilgram" brand. No tag on the piece coming out of the box. Listed as CRS502707 Fireplace Tools etc from crosslinksmart.com on the box but not one mention or tag indicating Pilgram brand (which is higher quality). Unit looks same as pictured, quality appears average, we will give it a shot but had I read a review like this one I would have thought longer before buying.

Disappointment in the quality of this item from a company claiming to have been around for so long. The workmanship was cheap, the product arrived damaged (chips on the wood broom) and in general the description of the product was misleading. The iron used to make the product was not the size / gauge listed making it look cheap.

I bought these for my son, sight unseen, hoping they would be substantial, decorative, and work well. All three were accomplished. The tool set fits in perfectly at his home and is heavy so that it doesn't fall over. The feature that I liked the best is that it is all one piece, so the tops do not come lose and fall off. I love it.

I have not had these long enough to really write an accurate review, it is summer, we have not used them, but they seem like they are sturdy and will work well. I like how they look and they seem heavy duty.
