Review: Greaat shelf clip, PERIOD! - This item was my third (and final) attempt to install a glass shelf. After the original bracket that came with the glass shelf was somehow bent, I then purchased a second aftermarket bracket and attempted to use them, and those failed! I found these brackets on desertcart for a fraction of the price of the second set and ordered them. These things GRIP the glass shelf wonderfully. My shelf is now level, sturdy and looks great. I wish that I had bought them much sooner. I must have ordered the size a bit too large but solved that problem very easily by cutting some black plastic shims to place them between the top of the glass shelf and under the upper portion of the clip. Finally, I'm now done with this project, as my wife and I are very happy!

**Q: Is it water resistant? Could it be used in a shower?**
A: They are metal so yes but might Rust in a year or so

**Q: You didn’t indicate the dimension from the back of the bracket to the inside of the pocket?**
A: 5/8"

**Q: How big is the hole for screwing to the wall? What size/type of metal screw can I use?**
A: I drilled a 5/16 hole, but was using anchors in tile. It will depend on the wall material. Mine came with screws, so I just bought one with a similar diameter.

**Q: Can this be use on Flexiglass?**
A: Yes. I have used it on tempered glass and it’s working great.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ UPDATE As a replacement for IKEA glass bathroom shelf over time these began to sag.

These brackets are an almost exact replacement for the original brackets from an IKEA 21" (21x4x1/4) glass bathroom shelf that's no longer available. Over time the brackets weakened and eventually failed but only after probably 15+ years. These replacement brackets seems to be a better quality and appear sturdier. Saved quite a bit not having to replace the entire shelf. And happily I didn't even have to change out the plastic anchors drilled into the tile so installation took maybe a total of 10 minutes. UPDATE: Over time these brackets began to fail just as the original IKEA brackets did causing the glass shelf to sag. Needed to be replaced. If I could figure out how to do it I'd reduce # of stars to 2 stars.
