Perfect shower arm extension (updated due to unprompted seller response to original 4-star review)
Exactly as you would expect - great product. It's a fantastic shower head extender, and I love the fact that installation was made a breeze because both ends have rotating / locking collars, so you don't end up having to rotate the entire device (and pray that it is tight) at the exact angle that you need. Well worth the slight increase in cost from the rock-bottom options available. Sturdy, well made, easy to install, and tightening wing nuts hold arm in place at desired angle. The only caveat is that the mechanism instructs you to tighten the product with a custom allen wrench they provide. For me, no matter how I attempted to use the wrench, nothing happened. Luckily, hand tightening with plumber's tape was fine and I didn't have any leaks to begin with, and thus not in need of the wrench tightening mechanism, but that aspect of the device did not appear quite functional. This said, it functions extremely well, so I'm happy.UPDATE: The owner of the business contacted me (despite the 4 star review!) to explain the issue I was having: apparently there was supposed to be a small nut that my unit was missing that the wrench would tighten and help lock things in place. First, the seller taking time to read and respond to very positive 4 star reviews... you just don't see that level of customer service these days. Kudos. Second, the seller is taking steps to make sure that I get that small piece to lock things in place, despite the fact that the unit is working as intended without it. The whole experience readily deserves a 5 star review.

No Swiveling Issue - easy install on a flawless product!
Three things you should know about this Adjustable Shower Arm Extension:1) I read many reviews on all available shower arms and chose this one because of the "free-spinning locking collar" which allows you to control exactly where the extension arm sits in its optimal position. Otherwise you have 360 degrees of possibility of where it ends up once fully tightened and the only way to get it to the 12 o'clock position is to play with washer inserts and more rounds of tape around the pipe - a roll of the dice til you get it right. Not fun! This model eliminates that issue! And a couple of the other brands restrict the water flow and this one does not! So that's two reasons right there to purchase this product but the next two are even better.2) There's the video in the reviews that is titled "One Huge Design Flaw" that almost made me pass this up: Glad I did not! There is no design flaw. Once installed, my extension arm was tight on its own. But the maker of the shower arm has provided a small screw that you can tighten with a small Allen wrench (that is included in the package) to lock that sucker in its position just to be sure. I gave it couple turns and the arm does not budge! So please ignore that video which is now misleading because it is not an issue anymore, even if it may have been before. Please see the photo with the red arrow pointing at the small screw.3) Since I had already installed a rain shower onto the pipe coming out of the wall, none of the reviews I read pointed out that you can install this shower arm extension onto the fitting that is already installed as part of your shower head. So I was delighted to learn that the extension arm simply screws right into the slot where the rain showerhead had been. Please notice this in the included picture as well because it also helps add 2 or 3 inches more from the wall which I wanted and needed, giving me a total of close to 14 inches from the original pipe coming out of the wall. None of the reviews I read mentioned that, so I am mentioning it!PS Ok, one more point: The package, in addition to the Allen wrench, includes an instruction page with clear directions and pictures showing how it should look, plumbers tape, extra washers, even an extra threaded collar in case you need an extension for some shower set ups - so the seller is making sure that for all the possible shower set-ups out there, their shower arm is going to work on yours without leaking. And I hand-tightened all my fittings as they instruct you to and nothing leaked from the first try. This is the one to get!

Great sturdy shower arm, stays in place.
My old shower arm fell apart after years of use, so I needed a new one. The idea of the "free spinning locking collar" appealed to me as it is so hard with the old fixed collar to get the arm to land in the perfect upright placement. It would take teflon tape and various gaskets to get it right. I almost did not buy this one as some reviewers said it would not stay in place, there was even a video showing how it slipped down. I decided to take the chance anyway and I'm so glad I did. It was almost too easy to line it up and tighten it in place. Everything tightened up and it is staying perfectly in place. The shower head has a removable hand held part and I also put a in line valve to switch the water on and off so the arm does get handled and still is locked in place. It did not change the flow of water and works perfectly. When installing it, I did apply just a couple wraps of teflon tape as I would on any connection. I later got an email from WaterPoint saying to use less tape than the instructions say so perhaps that was the problem with others who had slipping problems. So installation was a breeze, it appears to be of quality construction and it STAYS IN PLACE.
