These boards are very hard and required redressing after been ripped up but this saw aided me achieving accurate straight and clean cuts. Easy to use and great value. I couldn’t justify getting a more expensive saw and clearly I didn’t need to. It’s light, easy to adjust and easy to use. Yes it makes dust but everything cleaned up nicely.

A: Exactly 4.5 seconds.. Best multi-material and mitre saw I've ever owned, superb value for money 😃

A: Yes very easy being honest I love it so simple to operate good clean cuts etc

A: The base of this machine is Aluminium.

**Q: Hello, thinking of buying this machine, need it to cut new floor boards, that clip together, is the cut clean, with no splits or splintering**
A: If your floorboards are solid wood then the cuts should be clean ... so long as you have a sharp blade and go nice and slow with the cut. If the boards are laminate then I have not cut any of those so can't comment on whether the hard top surface will chip like it does with a hand saw. I wouldn't have thought so given the speed of the rotating blade.

I purchased this for a large hallway project using reclaimed nearly 200 year old floorboards. These boards are very hard and required redressing after been ripped up but this saw aided me achieving accurate straight and clean cuts. Easy to use and great value.
