Works as advertised
Replaced an old style dial type lock. Was an easy install and programming . Don’t need to be a locksmith to install but some mechanical aptitude is bennifical .

Function’s as designed.
The product appears to be of decent quality.However… the product arrived in an unsealed package and showed signs of having fallen out of the box. There were small pieces of plastic in the bag that I determined came from keypad base. It still functions correctly so I proceeded with the install. The installation was the same as last several dozen… easy. This was the first unit I purchased through Amazon. I will probably order again and try once more.I will eventually try to procure a new base though.

Great replacement for Canon OEM
Use this as a replacement for my canon safe took a little bit of modification, but was a great addition and upgrade

Easy to install. Works as expected
I bought this lock to replace the damaged lock on my Cannon gun safe. The only thing I didn’t like was how the key pad attaches to the door. I had to retap the screw holes to match the studs that secure the display. Once the studs are installed all you have to do is align the holes on the display to the studs and twist it on but it stays a bit loose. It would be better if there was a smaller shoulder on the studs so the display would fasten more securely.Other than that instructions were easy to follow and the lock worked good.

I have had a couple of Sargent & Greenleaf digital locks and was looking for a replacement. I was shocked to see that this one came with a plastic keypad. It seemed so cheap compared to the heavy metal ones of the past. Maybe that's the way it is now. I returned it.
