Excellent netting that's strong even for being thin enough to let rain through, lots of sun, and see very easily into it. Squirrels have tried to get in and haven't succeeded yet, even with those sharp little claws. No animal has gotten in there. I used it in a few ways too. The photo included shows a raised cedar bed protected by the garden netting, but I also use it to protect a specific flowering plant in the ground bed at night since it was already feasted on once. It hasn't been eaten again! So it's pretty versatile. With so much of it, the value is fantastic. Super helpful that it comes with nylon ties too.

Product as expected and easy to work with. Used on frame of a greenhouse to allow airflow and rain to strawberry patch while keeping birds and squirrels out. Came with sufficient quantity of zip ties for securing.

This is my second purchase of AlpineReach’s black netting, because last year was so successful that I’ve expanded my vegetable cage. I like that it’s barely visible. By careful dismantling you can reuse it. I chose to hook it over 1/2” lath screws installed about 8” apart and not fully screwed in - I found this easier to install the netting over (and adjust) than using the provides zip-ties. There’s a knack to installing it tight - work out from one corner, and leave it quite slack to start with. By the time you get to the other side it’ll stretch tight. I’m leaving this review because they included what felt like a genuine Thank You note in the package - nice job, Marketing team!

For the last two Summers I have been struggling with really cheap, hard to work with netting that I got at Home Depot. I finally broke down and ordered this netting and it just got here today and I have been out putting them over my strawberry beds, asking myself why I did not order this product sooner. This is exactly what I was hoping the bird netting would be... Durable, with a good stretch, and easy to work with, for a great price. The other stuff I've been using would catch on everything, it would stick to your shoes and trip you If you stepped on it, it would catch on bricks or leaves or weeds or anything that came in contact with. This netting doesn't catch on anything and is easy to work with, doesn't get tangled up, is fairly thick, feels durable, and you can walk on it without it getting tangled in your shoes! It is perfect for using as bird netting over strawberries and other berries, and things you need to keep the deer and other critters out of. With the quality of this product I fully anticipate getting multiple seasons out of it.What it will NOT do: It will not keep a determined 250 lb deer from forcing his way through a fence made of this product, strung between two fence posts; It will not keep out anything with teeth that is willing to chew through it (You are able to cut it with scissors, after all). In my experience, having this product over veggies or fruit is enough of a deterrent to keep the deer from trying to nibble on it. And it is great for birds. But if you have a critter that is determined enough to push through a fence, or to sit and chew through this, then you may want to try a different product, but so far that has not been an issue for me in all the years I've been gardening.

Kinda hard to work with , just like a fish net, expands in ALL directions. But it seems very strong

Wonderful product—durable, stretchy, strong and easy to use and store. Does not unravel. Thank you for this great product. We could also use a version that comes in 5-6 ft height so it can be used to encircle garden plots. I cut this product in half for use around my plots, but it would be better to have the appropriate size for easier use.

Easy to install. Keeps cats, birds, squirrels out of my vegetable and flower gardens.

Arrived quickly - no unnecessary packaging. Roll of green netting in sturdy box with ties. Useful instructions on how to install. Netting easy to use - very flexible - seems very strong. Used to cover strawberry bed. I installed canes with tops in the bed, draped the netting over tightly, and pegged down at the sides with u-shape squewers. Seems to work well. At the end of the season I will remove the netting, roll up, ready for next year!

BUY THIS NETTING! That's the best feedback I can give on this item. This is the best netting I have been able to find for years. First of all, it's large: 15' x 30' which I needed to place over an infrastructure on my strawberry beds. It's difficult to find any netting over 7' wide. Second, it has the characteristics of a cotton net because it isn't always trying to revert to the tiny size most nets are in their packaging. Stretch them out and they have memory so they return to their packaged size. This net does not do that. Once it's stretched out, it stays stretched out and that makes it so much easier to deal with. I needed a net to protect my strawberries from robins but some netting, even when it's called bird netting, can trap birds and cause injury or death. Not this net - no troubles in that regard whatsoever. Also, I needed a net that would allow bees through for pollination. Again, this one works perfectly for that. I highly recommend this product - you won't be disappointed.
