It feels very good in the hand and I could see this would be a very good knife for many people, very safe as you hold with long grip if that makes sense. It also works well, when cutting, as a scraper, you can gather up the results of you work with its wide blade and put in the pot. This could be a real winner I think, very good so far. A: Thanks for your question. Our Berkel Primitive knife is made in Italy of forged stainless steel type X50CrMoV15 (1.4116), hardness up to 59 hrc. Both handle and blade are "fusion concept" developed for an innovative cutting experience.

Ho acquistato questo coltello più per curiosità che altro. Devo dire che è ben fatto, dal design impeccabile e ben studiato. La lama è molto affilata, tuttavia in cucina risulta essere più un oggetto di scena di grande impatto che pratico. Alla fine nell'uso quotidiano preferisco altri coltelli con impugnatura tradizionale più ergonomica. Per questo, dato anche il costo elevato, forse oggi ci penserei un pochino di più prima di metterlo nel carrello...
