Well-built, does exactly what it promises, and works out of the box.
I got this hoping to start doing some custom molds and shipping shells for custom toys and figurine designs and it works incredibly well. Took it out of the box, set up the machine, hooked the hose up to our Dyson, and made a working mold in about 5 minutes. I'm genuinely surprised by the level of detail it holds - you can see the tiny print layer lines from a high-quality resin print in the molds, which is wild to me. Also handy for making protective shipping shells for fragile stuff if you invest in some cheaper forming sheets. Honestly their premade stuff is good quality and a couple dollars a form isn't terrible... but knowing it costs about 10 cents a sheet to manufacture makes it a little hard to swallow the supply costs without doing a *little* work to find them cheaper.

Hard to beat this.
This is pricey but it is so much more quality than other comparable modelsThere is a slight rub on sliding the platform up and down but nothing serious.A resin wrap is around the frame and mine had a slight split on the edge about an inch long. I glued it back down, no problem.Very well packaged and came with plastic sheets with both white and transparent selections. My only critique is that I would love a list of recommended, specific vacuum models that are known to work well with it.Looking forward to using it soon.

Great for small items!
The Mayku is a very easy device for vacuum-forming. Your vacuum hooks up to the Mayku and is automatically triggered when the sheet is brought down to the bed, which is really nice. Perfect for small items. Only thing I didn’t understand is that there is a timer on this that has to be on for the machine to work, but doesn’t really keep time and isn’t really an accurate timer for when the thermoplastic is ready for forming. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Didn't work out of the box. No heat. Just an ANNOYING beeping sound.
Did all the set-up. Watched videos. Nothing. No heat. Temp. light flashes oranges. The troubleshooting for this did not help. It does 6 beeps, pauses, then repeats.

Vacuum I used apparently isn't strong enough
How much hp do we need in a Shop Vac? I have been making molds on a big machine for 30 years and hoped to use this in my retirement. I tried a regular house vacuum but it just doesn't have enough to pull down around the edges.

Nice, but would be nicer if it were bigger .
It’s a very elegant and usable design. The bed is a little small tho.
