ThyroSoothe for Overactive Thyroids & Hyperthyroidism

I am taking the time to write this review since,I am pleasantly surprised of the results so far. I was looking high and low for something "From Nature" that would help calm my highly ridiculous THYROID. Yes, by that I mean Hyperactive. It has been at least 14 years that I have refused to use the typical medication that the endocrinologist had prescribed to me. I will say, initially I did try the Methimazole medication and wound up having severe leg cramps. When I called the thyroid "SPECIALIST" to see why I was, all of a sudden unable to even walk anymore due to these cramps, which by the way, I have had four children naturally and could hack the pain with no epidurals or pain killers but these cramps, forget it, they had me DOWN, he kindly responded, "OH NO, there is no possible way the cramps are from the medicine, I knew I was in trouble! It most certainly was from the medication. From that point on I decided off the meds I go and of course as soon as I did, amazing, no more cramps! Anyway, I wanted to say that I put myself on the RAW APPLE CIDER VINEGAR regimen for a month and just for the heck of it, went back to the endo and he took my blood levels and said "OH GREAT, THE MEDICINE MUST BE WORKING",HA-HA YEAH RIGHT. It was the raw apple cider vinegar that did the trick. From that point on, I have been on again, off again with that regimen and have always had different boughts with the thyroid. There is no doubt in my mind that STRESS has been my trigger for my thyroid to BOUNCE around and go haywire. My father passed away in June 2012 and my husband left me and our children two weeks after. I think that calls for a little stress, don't you? I said ALL that to say that recently my thyroid decided to go Wacko again and I wound up in the emergency room with a heart rate of 166bpm and it scared me , once again I was given methimazole, I took it for one day and decided NO, I need to find a natural product that will work. Thanx be to Jehovah God I found this thyroid soothe. SO FAR, after three days I already feel great. BUY THIS! IT truly works. Finally, something that will not destroy my thyroid or radioactivate it to death. It is actually resting in peace now.

I just wanted to mention that I've been taking this product now for almost six months. I had a very slight case of hyperthyroidism... my TSH levels were slightly low, but I was having heart palpitations, felt very fatigued... just not myself. I went to an endocrinologist (who did my lab work) and put me on methimazole. I took this medication for 7 months (at 5 mcg daily, lowest amount for adult dosage.)It was a horrible medication for me; it made all my joints ache, my hair started falling out, and I started having sharpness in my chest. Towards the end of my treatment my symptoms seemed to worsen. Although my lab results where looking better on paper; I had to make a trip to the emergency room because of an uncomfortable heart rate of 127. I recently had an echo stress test and everything came back fine.... but Needless to say, I had to get off of the medication. RAI is not an option for me; my older sister had this done and suffers other ailments because of it.I've done really great with the thyrosoothe. It took a couple months before my symptoms disappeared, but I think too that the methimazole was getting out of my body. My hair is growing back, I have ZERO heart palpations, I have exuberant energy, I've gained 6lbs (I had low body mass index before hand). I will continue taking this product for my hyperthyroidism.

I tried this product for my overactive thyroid and IT MADE ME FEEL WORSE! I had a blood test after taking product and my LEVELS WERE SUPER HIGH!! I was thinking that probably they made a mistake by adding natural ingredients for hypothyroidism. I was like what the heck? Even my doctor was so worried that something terrible may happen to me due to the drastic increase of T4. I bought this product because of all the great reviews I found here. But may be it was just my luck with this product. I will not recommend it.

Got this for my husband who has a couple nodules and a few cysts on his thyroid gland. I've told him for many years that he is hyperthyroid and it is probably a hyperfunctioning nodule, but he doesn't like doctors and his GP is relatively clueless. Last year he developed PVC's, so I convinced him to go to the doc. His doc didn't make the connection between the thyroid nodules and the PVC's, hand tremors and now hair falling out. Long story short, a week ago he started the ThyroSoothe as directed on the bottle, .5 ml, 3X/day, but during the week he skips the midday dose.Well, I wish I had listened to his heart right away. I was so sure it would take a while based on reviews here, I waited 3 days and I'll be darned, counted 100 beats and no PVC's. His blood pressure is good and pulse rate has dropped a little to a more normal rate. Next day he missed his morning dose and when he got home I listened and PVC's every 3rd or 4th beat again. We are amazed. We are going to work to get him on the lowest dose that works. I've also noticed less hair in the shower drain in the last few days, so it looks like the hair falling out is slowing down, whew!The takeaway from this is, herbs like pharmaceuticals, can be very powerful, so use them with care and monitor your symptoms. We are striving to take the lowest amount necessary to relieve symptoms. We were not about to use any drugs or radiation or thyroid removal, so this may be just what we were looking for. Should anything change, I will update.

I went ahead ordered this and have been trying it. The subsequent blood test results from my vet do NOT show it to have been beneficial or effective in this particular case. So glad I found out before anything really bad happened, which there was that potential here. My own advice would strongly be to consult with your veterinary doctor before experimenting on your own, and let him or her give you expert guidance about such use. I won't be using it again!
