Milk Duds Candy, 1.85-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 24)

Chewy caramel, milk chocolate....what a perfect combination! I've loved these since I was kid....I can remember asking my dad to buy them for me at the movie theater and I can remember hoping they would be in my trick-or-treat bag on Halloween. Now that I'm in my mid-40s I still by them once or twice a year at the grocery store checkout or at the movies. I saw this 24 pack and thought I deserved a little treat. They arrived just as fresh, chewy and delicious as always!

Nice to have for movie night to share with friends

As with all Hershey products they are great quality. The caramel is rich and very flavorful and the chocolate is up to the Hershey standards.

These milk duds were very old and almost inedible. 11 of the 24 boxes were melted together which resulted in 1 big milk dud. The boxes were not melted had a white powder on them, they were very old and very dry. Do not order this product if you enjoy milk duds!

As the saying goes, "What's more fun about less candy?"While this picture makes it look like the bulk box holds the regular, movie theater-sized box, it's between a third and a half of a movie-sized box. As such, in order to get a proper theater experience you'll have to open up three of the little guys and deal with the scrape-the-last-one-off-the-bottom phenomenon three times as much.I also got very seriously sick while eating this product, but I can't pin it on the Duds. They don't usually make me sick, but it bears mentioning, in case anyone else experienced that.

Milk Duds and I have had a longstanding love affair. Always delicious whether cold(chewier) or warm(melts in your mouth... no offense to M&M's) these are sometimes reason enough to get me to go to the movie theater. Buy 4 boxes of these and even if the movie is awful(and how many really aren't these days?!) the night won't be wasted... just try to regulate yourself so you haven't killed them before the previews end(try to eat them one at a time rather than handfuls I've learned)! So why only 4 stars then? Well although the candy is easily a 5 star candy it can have DISASTROUS effects on anyone who has dental work like fillings or caps. I have literally been brought to my knees in pain by this candy! There is nothing worse than enjoying a Milk Dud, when all of a sudden... sharp pain and the sudden taste of chocolate dental cement exploding in your mouth! So in closing, if you have perfect teeth then this is a 5 star candy easily(although if you eat too many of these you won't have perfect teeth for long but...), if not; 4 stars but still worth the risk... just eat carefully!

I purchased these from Amazon because of the smaller portion sized boxes than what I can find in stores locally. These arrived fine, but are somewhat stale. Do not taste as fresh as the boxes I purchase in town. They are just ok. 5 stars for the candy itself, it is one of my favorites!

Much smaller then I thought but tastes really nice and arrived early

Es handelt sich um eine Art Karamellkern welcher von einer dünnen Schicht Milchschokolade (nicht so dick wie die Riesen) umzogen ist. Außerdem ist der Karamellkern NICHT so hart und schwer zu kauen wie die Riesen, ich würde sogar behaupten er ist sehr leicht zu kauen und man schmeckt den Schokoladen überzug kaum er verfeinert lediglich den Geschmacks des Karamells. Es bleibt zwar auch an den Zähnen hängen jedoch nicht so penetrant wie die Riesen. Wer auf Karamell steht dem kann ich die Mild Duds nur sehr empfehlen!

Vergleichbar zu den Milk Duds fallen mir die Nestle Rolo Paralinen ein, die es in deutschen Märkten zu kaufen gibt. Die Milk Duds sind allerdings im Gegensatz relativ hart zu kauen. Hatte mir die Milk Duds geholt, weil ich in irgendeiner Folge von The Big Bang Theory auf diese aufmerksam wurde. Der Geschmack passt, ist jetzt aber auch nichts besoderes. Ich glaube einfach, dass deutsche Firmen o.ä. deutlich bessere Süßigkeiten herstellen.

Ich kam durch "The Big Bang Theory" auf Milk Duds und war neugierig..Ich muss sagen die Dinger sind MEGA lecker, der Preis ist auch ok!!
