Bonta Extra Heazy Tomato Puree (6lb Tin)

I opened the box and both cans had huge dents in them. Since I needed them asap, I can't send them back. But I can't understand why anyone would send out 2 damaged products.Update: I was aggravated because the cans I received were very damaged, but I had to use them because there was no time to send them back. That being said, I have been making Spaghetti Sauce for 45 years and have used several different brands of tomato puree over the years. I must be honest and say that this brand was the best tasting I've ever had. The puree was thicker than usual which led to a better sauce altogether. I am very pleased with the texture & taste and if possible I will never use any other brand than Bonta again. Molto Bene!

The Pastene puree I buy locally is 1/2 the price but then it is 1/2 as thick. Since at the moment Pastene Puree is all but impossible to get this is the one to purchase. This is not the grocery store Puree you are used to, its much better, thicker and excellent taste. Just be ready to make lots.
