Old Tupton Ware Ceramic Light Pull Blind 3216 China Handle Summer Bouquet

If, like me, you intend to site this pull above the headboard of your bed, then it's a good candidate. Yes, there's a gaping hole in the bottom - how else to feed the knotted cord in? But the glazing is carried round the lower rim and across to the hole, and so the pull looks - and is - well-finished. This makes all the difference if you're eyeing the pull from below.The design is a pretty one, with colours to fit a variety of schemes. I particularly like the elongated shape which compares well with the rather dumpy contours of another Tupton pull - in which the glaze was also less 'finished'. I wish I'd bought two of this, instead of hedging my bets...

Lovely cord pull perfect in every way apart if you are using a standard bathroom cord knotting it does not keep the pull in place so I had to attach at small bolt on the end to stop it being pulled off, bit fiddly and you can still see a little of the Knot poking through which I don’t like.
