Great pattern
I really like this pattern. The instructions are clear and you don't need tools to put the stays together. She even enclosed a pattern for the bosom friend. I'm really impressed with the pattern. If they offered more in the line I would get them

Easy to make, but make a mockup of the stays first
My mom bought this to make the chemise and the short stays. There were times when the instructions were confusing, but we eventually figured everything out. My stays did fit a bit weird. We made the mistake of not reading ahead and not realizing that the pattern used bias binding instead of a hem on the front. Recently, I read on the Sense and Sensibility blog that the creator was going to remake the pattern after realizing how bra cup and band sizing works. Apparently the stays pattern is a size too big for most people. My mom and I were going to make new stays after our user error, but now I definitely think we need to remake them with the smaller size.If you want Regency underwear, I definitely recommend this pattern. The chemise is useful, and the stays are historically accurate (judging by my research and the pattern reviews online). I appreciate that the Sense and Sensibility blog/website has the notions PDF online to help when you're buying fabric before the pattern comes in the mail. Actually, I'm just happy with how easy it was to make the stays, since it was our first time making anything like a corset. The pattern was good and they came out well, even though we made them wrong.Edit: This pattern is good, but the patternmaker realized in 2019 that the grading was wrong for the short stays. She is still working on updating it. I just remade my stays in 2020, and I think I figured out why my original size didn't work. I wear a small band and DD+ (this pattern is not recommended for my cup size). Usually for sewing, your bust measurement for clothing is your overbust, but for stays, you want to use your underbust measurement. Cut out the size that matches your underbust, then use the correct cup size for your bust gussets. I added width to the gussets to accommodate my cup size. I'm nearly done (just need to add a little cording and binding), and these changes work for me. Just make sure you make a mock-up in a sturdy fabric like a canvas so you can determine the best fit for you.The Sense and Sensibility website has notes on sizing. The directions are very good, and I'm not a very experienced sewer. I'm very happy with this pattern, it just needs adjustment for the stays.

sewing here is fun
This is an easily understood pattern and layed out clearly to work with. It is historically correct and a reliable resource. it is not a beginner pattern but with care and patience a beginner can learn from this and become proficient.

Good Basic Pattern
This pattern is definitely not for everyone. I'm an advanced sewer and still had difficulty following some of the directions as well as some of the pieces required a bit of redrafting to make seams meet. It's a good pattern for the basic Regency underwear, nothing too fancy, but some sewing knowledge is required and it is not recommended for beginners.

Good job!
I've sewed many garments as a reenactor, and I found this pattern to be one of the easiest to understand I've ever used. The chemise and stays turned out very satisfactorily. There are many helpful illustrations and hints.

not for beginners
This is a great pattern and everything comes together well. I've been sewing for many years but some of the directions and illustrations were difficult to make sense of. I had to find YouTube videos to understand. Once I did that it was very easy. I recommend this pattern but not for beginners..

As Expected
good regency undies pattern on sturdy paper with clear instructions. Made the shift first. I made the medium as per measurements and it is very roomy for an undergarment, next time I will make the small . Then I moved on to the short stays, everything came together as expected... I only took one star off because the price seams a bit high for what it is, and the hand drawn illustrations in the instructions are a bit messy.
