This is as a great book....helped me study for my Lactation Consultant board exam!

Absolutely amazing book! The book lays out the best way to use the eight step process for solving problems. It cures the oh so common "nipple tech" type of view by helping you to solve the problem instead of the symptoms.

The case studies sucked me in from the first read. Really demonstrated the importance of having a logical method of collecting information and taking histories, as well as some great cases of interesting variations on common and not-so-common breastfeeding and medical issues. I highly recommend this book. It's so interesting and useful!

This is an excellent book. It's worth whatever price they're charging for it these days. It teaches you to approach clients with totally fresh eyes and not to miss vital information by jumping to your own conclusions. And it reads like a mystery novel - who could ask for more!
